Has been a game changer for my GSD. It’s very sturdy and very effective. My GSD has stopped lunging at cats, other dogs and vehicles. He also doesn’t pull on his leash anymore. The immediate feedback when he tries has been very effective and corrected his behaviors very, very quickly. One warning, though. It is NOT easy to put on or remove, especially if your hands are wet, If you don’t have good hand strength then this is not for you because it shouldn’t be on your dog 24/7. I strongly recommend looking at videos by professional trainers regarding this collar and how it should be worn (high on the neck) and used.
Game changer for my pup!!!!! Highly recommended. I have the most lovable dog. Unfortunately that also means he get’s a little too excited on his walks. I use to use just a harness on him, but he’d still pull on the leash. I came across this dog training collar via recommendation, and I’m glad I listened!!! Total game changer!!! He no longer pulls on the leash and is now more obedient on his walks. From what I heard it’s just a small pinch when he’d pull on the leash. I know he’s happy and it’s not hurting him because I can still see has tail wag out of enjoyment when we go for walks, and he’s always still so vocal when he’s expressing his joy. If you have a pup who’s pulling on the leash/needs some training…I would HIGHLY recommend this training collar.
Only Choker Chain that Really Works. Tried 3 other types. All just made for frustration and 1 year old 7 lb pup just choking as pulls.This is the BEST one out there and hard to decipher useableness online. This costs a few bucks more but worth. Doesn’t hurt the fog at, just messaged him to stay in range and listen. He’s a wild full of energy Black Mouth Cur and now I can walk him without a big battle around people or other dogs.Buy this one from the start save headaches. The sizing is a bit tricky. I just measured the main collar length and went by their directions. the 18 inches fit perfect. It’s a little bit of a trick learning debuckleing squeezing the tongs, but better than the ones made with quick release that take away area needed for tongs that clamp in when slip chain tightens.
It doesn’t hurt the animals. Works great no pain to my dog but taught him how to walk beside me and not pull me. 👍🏻
Helps a ton. Do your research. This helps my dog walk so much better as we’ve been able to use this tool to train him out of pulling like he would on his harness or leash.
Great for leash training. This prong is great for training. It’s lightweight, comes with a lot of links to remove and add as needed for the size of your dogs neck, and it’s just overall excellent. I worked at a doggy daycare for years and this is what we used for training. Got one for my 5mo old pup and it has been just excellent for our walks. She doesn’t pull and I can give her a proper correction on walks when needed. I have some spine problems so I can’t having anything pulling me or dragging me down when I walk, so this collar has really helped with that. Fits her great and allows for us to go on walks almost everyday. As long as it’s used correctly, it won’t hurt them and it will allow your pup to go more places with you once you know you have more control over them!
Good product. Works great! My 1 year old Lab / Pitty is very excitable. He will rip my arm right off if he decides to go. This has helped him to be much more calm and listen better.I got the size bigger than they said so he can grow into it if need be. The links are removable so easy to make different sizes.
Excellent Quality. I have a mixed Pitt, he weighs about 50 pds. I purchased this item late last night, got it this morning around 7am. NO LIE, I was amazed. The thickness, the quality and how strong it feels. I just went for our morning walk and I must say.. 👏 👏 👏 I noticed the change the minute I walked out of my apt. My boy pulls a lot. He’s a walking nightmare. This prong fit perfect and he did great on his first walk. Absolutely, no pulling. Definitely recommend.
No more pulling. This item has help with walking my Siberian husky who pulled all the time and was difficult to walk beside me. It only took the first walk with the collar on to be corrected once with a slight quick pulling back on the leash and she didn’t pull after that and walked beside me. The material is thick and durable, make sure you measure your dog’s neck to get the right size. It was very easy to use and a good bang for your buck when it comes to finding an item to help properly with dog training.
