  1. Why, oh why, did I not get these sooner. As a kid, my mother made me clean the basement bathroom (the one that everyone used) every weekend before I could hang out with friends. It wasn’t just a “scrub down the shower stall, wipe the sink, and clean the toilet” job, either. I had to scrape the grit from the door rails and clean every little crack and crevice until the bathroom sparkled. Needless to say, I hate cleaning bathrooms to this day, and while a general disdain for the task is my primary motivation, there is also the fact that my hands cramp horribly when trying to get into the tighter areas, such as behind the sink faucet. If only there was an easier and less painful way of getting to those places!ConstructionEnter the OXO Good Grips Deep Clean Brush Set (henceforth referred to as OXO DCBS). Until I bought these I generally found myself browsing the generic toothbrush section of my local store. While toothbrushes do an “okay” job, the bristles are too uniform in size and are generally never up to the task of a vigorous scrub. This is where the OXO DCBS comes in: while they look like toothbrushes, they are far more durable and functional than even the stoutest Oral B product.• Each brush has a separate function. The larger brush has stiffer bristles and a flatter surface, making it ideal for cleaning grout. The smaller brush is not as firm, with the bristles being tapered away from center, ideal for cleaning tight surfaces since the bristles will reach the desired area even when the brush is angled.• The silicone tip/chisel at the opposite end of the smaller brush is ideal for cleaning the rims of the drain or getting gunk out of a tight corner. This end will not scrub, but it is both firm and flexible enough for the tip to clean out dirt that is loosely packed where the brushes just can’t get enough bristles into for cleaning.• On the back of the brush head on the larger of the two is a small rubber indentation that you can press your finger into for those really grimy messes that need some extra elbow grease. This gives you a bit more control so that you can get what you are cleaning as sparkling as possible.• The black areas of the brushes are the same grip that OXO® uses on many of their cooking products. If you are not familiar with them, the black areas are a rubberized coating that enables you to maintain a good hold on the handle, rather than having it slip from your hand when you are vigorously scrubbing with it.Okay, Stacy, the detailed description is great, but is the OXO DCBS worth the money?YES! With the rubberized grip to ensure that you can get a good scrub, a silicone chisel tip to clean out gunk in tight places, and TWO different brush heads that serve different functions, you will never need to worry if you grabbed the wrong toothbrush to clean the commode again! Being able to clean the base of the faucets around the house all of the way around, including behind them in tight locations where a backsplash prohibits maneuvering your hands, almost makes the cost worth it by itself.Between small details like being able to press down on the back of the brush head in order to scrub a bit harder on a particularly dirty area, the wider-than-a-toothbrush handles that have that familiar OXO® rubberized coating to ensure a safe grip, and the host of other features that I listed in the “Construction” section of this review, I am very happy that I purchased these brushes. No, I still loathe cleaning bathrooms, but at least now I will be able to clean those tight spots easier, quicker, and without my hands locking up in pain. I can honestly say that the OXO Good Grips Deep Cleaning Brush Set is worth the money.

Not as tough as you’d think. The media could not be loaded. So I bought these bridges for the purpose of stripping paint off miniatures. I recently tarted buying and reselling miniatures and the ones with less than premium paint can sell for cheap and once stripped fetch a decent profit. These brushes work decently but aren’t my favorite. The problem they have is they’re so so soft. Like something advertised for deep cleaning and grout should be fairly stiff and these are only slightly stiffer than a firm toothbrush. They’re a little gentle. Wasn’t what I was aiming for. I would defiantly not use these to clean grout, get a real grout brush something with some seriously stiff bristles.I’ve also noticed even though they’ve been used very limited my that the brushes are starting to bend/misshapen so the durability is also just not going to be there

  5. Has many uses. I had the small one for 5 years and it’s still OK but I had been afraid that I would never find the same for replacing. It’s perfect for cleaning where the counter joins the wall and around faucets. It seems that there are many more stains in my laundry recently and regular stain remover just doesn’t do the job with difficult stains such as chocolate. I discovered that after spraying I can completely brush the stain out. Also gets stains out of the grout in my floor tiles. Love these.

  6. A must for grout. This stuff is amazing for tile! I also used the pink stuff paste with the brushes. You can see the stain lifting away as you scrub away with this stuff. I let it set for a little and then with a bucket of water and a scrub I washed all the stuff away. Once it dries after 20-30 min or so you really see a huge difference! The tile looks like new !!

  7. Love This. Very sturdy and cleans well in my kitchen.

  8. Top quality, makes cleaning easier. These brushes were purchased to help clean jets on a jetted tub. Exactly what we needed to complete the job! The small brush has a wiper blade that is especially helpful to remove grunge from jet crevices. OXO is a great brand, no matter what product we purchase.

  9. Great brushes for herd to reach spots. I love these brushes. They get underneath and between crevices around the sink and faucet. I hate the pink slime that builds up and these brushes are great for scraping it out.

NECESSITY. The little brushes are so handy for cleaning hard-to-reach, tiny spaces. I especially love the silicone tip with the pointed end. It’s so effective to clean hard to reach spaces. OXO products are hands down the best line of gadgets you can purchase. They may be a little more pricey than other brands but the quality will last a long time.

Excellent short-term product. The brushes work very well for hard-to-clean areas but the bristles wear out after about a dozen determined uses.

Multipurpose and helps with thorough cleaning. I like the multi-purpose use of these and confidence that I can get in the little cracks and crevices. The brush is firm enough to not bend the bristles right away. The handle is comfortable to use as well.

  16. Versatile and Comfortable Cleaning Brushes. I’ve been using the OXO Good Grips Deep Clean Brush Set for a few months, and they have become an essential part of my cleaning toolkit. This set includes two brushes: a large brush for scrubbing larger surfaces and a smaller brush with a wiper blade for precision cleaning in tight spaces. The bristles are sturdy and effective at removing dirt and grime without damaging surfaces. The ergonomic handles are comfortable to hold, even during extended cleaning sessions. The only minor downside is that the smaller brush’s wiper blade can wear out over time with heavy use. Overall, I highly recommend this brush set for anyone looking for a versatile and comfortable cleaning solution.

Handy little brushes. These little brushes get into small grooves and crevices. I can keep them in the drawer right next to the sink. They are durable and easy to keep clean. I would recommend these brushes for cleaning around your house.

  18. STURDY AND FUNCTIONAL. I’ve had these little brushes for some time now and know that they will always get the job done. Their shape, size, and handles enable me to get into small crevices. I’ve used them on bathtub tile and air vents alike to get rid of dust. I’ve recommended them to friends who have also been satisfied. Thank you

  19. Great Little Brushes. When you get older, the skin on your toes can become crusty. It may sound gross to all you young readers who think you will be young forever, but these things happen. The small brush in particular is well designed to clean the toes. Soaking your feet for ten minutes or more in vinegar will soften up the crusty skin, and the small brush will take it right off. I haven’t yet found a use for the bigger brush, but I will. The brushes are well made.

  20. Cleaning Brushes. Great for cleaning stains on clothes. Bristles are soft ,not very stiff, so not so easy to get into hard to reach spots. I use them for doing dishes and have another set for cleaning the crevices in the bathroom.
