Best toy for a Jack Russell. Update 2/9/23 – Ordered the lamb this time.It was easier for Justice to tear open the first layer than it did with the pig. I think it’s because the lamb has hair to pull on. The rest of the toy is the same as the pig. I won’t buy the lamb again because it’s hair is messy, however I will defiantly buy another one of these toys, maybe the fox.Ordered the pig:This is by far the best toy I’ve given my Jack Russell. Justice has a very strong jaw and sharp teeth and being a JR she has an abundance of energy, jumping, running, and bouncing type of energy.Justice is able to tear apart the tough dog toy like Kongs within days so I’m always on the look out for fun but durable toys.For Christmas (also her birthday 7yrs) I bought her the pig. It exceeded my expectations by a lot.Both the interior and exterior cloth layers are made of a strong material that doesn’t fray. The ball on the inside it also is really durable. It took Justice about two weeks to get through both layers and to the ball. That in itself I was happy with. BUT…. it gets better! Because of the slit and strong material I’m able to put it all back together and she gets to do it all again. Of course after a few times its easier for her but here we are in February and she is still using it (more so just the ball now). This is the best of both things that Justice needs, something she is able to entertain herself when I don’t have time to play. She’s able to throw this to herself, bounce it and when she’s done running around she lays down and gets to tear it apart. I don’t typically write reviews but everybody in the family has been so impressed by this toy that they said I need to write one. Since I’m back to buy another one I’m taking the opportunity to write this.If you have a high energy, strong jawed, sharp teeth dog I recommend this toy! Especially if you have a JR.
This will last. I have a 4-year-old terrier mix who loves toys, especially balls. He is notorious for shredding anything in a day. I stopped investing in the more expensive toys because he seem to shred them just as quickly as the simpler ones. But lately, I’ve been really wanting to research and see if I could find him a toy that would last. I found a TikTok recommending this ball for super chewers and decided to add it to my cart. I also added a few other recommendations like a soft dragon and grey plush toys. But this ball is completely different from anything I have gotten him before. He is OBSESSED with it. He nibbles and chews and flips it in the air. He’s got a ton of energy so every day I take him somewhere to run around and play. We’ve been bringing this toy along and he absolutely loves it. It does get dirty but I have tossed it in my washer and dryer a few times now and it’s holding up fine. Took him almost 3 weeks to get through the first layer and another few days to get through the second. I think he was faster because he could feel the ball inside. He would lie down for an hour every evening and try to work through it. He was so excited to play with it every time I threw it for him. I would highly recommend this for any playful or energetic dog. The one downside is because it’s so strong the squeaker is going to last a while so get used to it! 🙂
Good and bad. The good- My dog absolutely loves this toy. We first got him the raccoon then got the pig. He was obsessed with each layer of the toy. However, the bad- he chews through the first layer so freakin quick. Second layer has taken him a little longer and then third layer (the ball) he rips off the tiny spikes so I end up having to throw it away and order a new one. The second toy was ordered 8/3 and he’s almost ripped open on the second layer already so I’ve ordered a third. I wish the toy had bulk pricing or the fabric was a little tougher.
Super fun but not an indestructible ball. My dog absolutely loved this toy. He is an aggressive chewer and loves to tear stuff apart. I thought this would be perfect for him and it was he squeaked and squeaked it for about 4 hours until he got the “indestructible” ball out and chewed it apart in minutes. I wouldn’t recommend for aggressive chewers but he was so sad when I took it away from him (because he will eat it and cause a blockage). I wish the ball was actually indestructible because it would have been his all time favorite toy.
5 minutes of fun. The squeaker lasted for about 5 minutes and then promptly stopped with the entire toy still being intact. Didn’t even get to the inner cloth or even the squeaker.Update 9/6:The seller read my review and sent me an e-mail to process a refund. Maybe it was a one-off defective item. Either way customer support went out of their way to make it right.
Fun, but won’t last long. First, I’ll say my boxer-mix loved this toy and it’s cute. Points for that. But if you’re looking for something that will last a while, this is not the one. He ran around the house squeaking it for about 10 minutes before the squeaker was dead. He did continue to play with it until he got the ball out, but that only took about 20 more minutes.
Tough toy to rip up. I love the concept of this toy! It took my cockapoo 3 weeks or so to get the first layer off…and only because we were playing tug of war. The next layer another week or so…….I would have given 5 stars ..but squeeker in ball died after the first day of him playing with it.
Not for aggressive chewers. This toy is definitely not for aggressive chewers. I gave it to my son’s dog and he had both plush toys off and in pieces within minutes. The interior ball was also destroyed. It might have lasted two minutes tops. It’s a cute toy, otherwise well made, would be great for a dog that doesn’t chew a lot.
Not long lasting. My dog got through the 2 outer layers in about 10 minutes, but he’s still enjoying the ball inside, so that’s a plus. This is definitely not made for an aggressive chewer.
Lasted longer than expected. The 2 layers exterior lasted way longer than most ‘tough chewers’ and Mister is still playing with the interior ball -very impressed an will repurchase and gift to orhers
Durable. This was great for my boxer mix puppy 9mos-1 yr. The squeaky ball inside is very durable. The exterior layers took a few months for him to go through and the ball is still going strong. Really cute and great value for the price.
Exactly as Described. 11/2/2024: When I bought this toy, I was 99% sure he’d destroy it fairly quickly, but I keep trying to find a soft toy that he can play with without destroying within the first 10 minutes.** THIS toy did WAY BETTER than I expected, lasting about an hour before I had to throw it away, so it WAS a sort-of success… **I’ve attached pictures taken throughout the evening. Really, the toy is VERY CUTE, but I’ll have to keep looking for one that’s less destrucible, unfortunately.NOTE for those with pups, like mine, who care nothing for cute toys, only wanting to destroy, destroy, destroy (lol)!1. When your dog gets past all the sewn components to the rubber ball in the center, take it away — especially if you’res likes to swallow the smaller pieces. I’ve included a picture of the pieces of that ball; they’re definitely a choke hazard.2. This toy IS very tough, so your pup may NOT be as destructive as mine; there are like 3 layers of tough, well seen fabric before reaching that rubber ball, so I hope your dog doesn’t utterly shred the toy like Echo did!Overall, this toy IS well made, it just didn’t stand a chance against Echo. I do recommend this toy to you lucky people with dogs who just wanna play but not tear up every toy you buy. It’s a fantastic deal… and it’s ADORABLE!

My dog likes this toy. I like the way it is and my dog likes hearing it squeaky. The size is perfect for her mouth and it is very soft and durable and very cute. It’s a good functional dog toy and the durability is awesome
Great fetch toy. Was not sure what to expect with our active 4 month old puppy, but after 3,928 games of fetch the piggy outside was finally ripped off and we need to buy a new one.So far a favorite for our lab mix and worth every penny!
These toys are pretty indestructible. I bought 3 different animals for my daughters dogs. Her dogs love toys but quickly destroy them while playing. It’s been awhile now and they are all 3 intact. A little worn but well worth the money.
Dog loves it. It is definitely not indestructible but will keep the dog busy for awhile.
Worth it. These have been great toys. I have pitbull mixes that destroy toys in a matter of minutes. These have lasted over a week and still squeak! My dogs love them and haven’t made it through the second layer of material. Even my senior 120 pound dog becomes a puppy playing with these. I got several more for future fun.
Wow. I have a young Bully that is a hard chewer. After destroying toys from the big pet stores were destroyed, quickly, my daughter told me about Bark Box toys. So I bought two different ones and after six months she is still playing with them. I love the theee in one idea. She finally went through the first layer of this two but is still working on the second. Great product.
Item is as described. My puppy loved his but unfortunately he is a very aggressive chewer and destroyed it in 3 days! Went through tge 2 layered cloth and then destroyed the ball that was in side🙄
Love this toy!! Excellent buy. I have a Great Pyranese/Husky/Lab mix and she tears through toys like crazy. It’s taken her nearly a month to destroy this one…and the best part is the product underneath the layers (yes, I said layers) is a squeaky spiked ball that’s pretty darn tough in and of itself. I was pleasantly surprised to see after she got through the fabric that there was another pig faced layer beneath and then finally the ball underneath the two! Will definitely be purchasing again. She is in love with this toy and carries it around more than her normal favorite toy. 😊 Thank you for such a well stitched, durable and fabulous dog toy!

Cute, tough. My grand dog loves it. She went for the ears first! It’s bouncy and squeaky, and when the covers are destroyed, there’s a durable ball inside, instead of stuffing all over the floor.
Dogs love them. Only lasts 24 hours with my super chewer dog, BUT I love that even after she rips both layers of material off, she still has the ball to play with! I buy these all the time because my dog loves them (and you can never have enough balls according to my dog)
Great Toy for Aggressive Chewers. I have purchased at least a dozen of these dog toys over the past year for my dog. He is an aggressive chewer, and he enjoys tearing the fabric from the ball. The toy features two layers for him to get through, which adds to its durability and extends playtime. The squeaker inside the toy is loud, and he loves this aspect, too. It keeps him very entertained.
