OGX Nourishing + Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum, 4 Fl Oz

Good product but there are better values. I was growing my haircut during the 2019-2021 CoViD pandemic and a friend of mine, who also used it, gave it to me as a gift to keep my hair ends healthy. I liked it enough to buy my mom a bottle. However, I later found out there are better values.Packaging and shipping was fine— it arrived sealed and undamaged. The product itself comes in a a cute looking 4-oz pump bottle. The serum is thick with a pleasant light scent of toasted coconut. It absorbs fairy well into hair or skin with just a bit of oiliness or greasiness after application. It effectively softens my hair and beard, also protecting the ends. It can also be used a bit like a leave in conditioner to tame minor fly-always or frizz. Overall it is an effective product but it’s not really coconut oil.In comparison to fractionated coconut oil, this product (1) is thicker, (2) oilier and (3) has a scent (4) and contains additives/ preservatives. In case you didn’t know, pure fractionated coconut oil is thin, light, unscented and has no oily feeling— it absorbs completely into your hair or skin. Also this product, unlike pure fractionated coconut oil, contains additives like DMDM Hydantoin. (Personally this doesn’t concern me, though I understand some people don’t like such preservatives.). This product is a bit more expensive than fractionated coconut oil. The one advantage of this “Coconut Milk” it that because it is thicker, is works better to manage frizz or otherwise tame your hair.Overall, I like the product and I’d recommend it, but I’d also recommend anyone buying/ using it also try some pure fractionated coconut oil. For most uses/ applications the coconut oil will be better.

Best hair product. I use this daily to keep my hair from frizz. I bought this because it is no longer available in my local stores.

Serum. Made my hair greasy ..but gave to my sister and she loves it ..so …their you just depends on your hair not the review

Nice scent and works well. I really like the scent and how fast it calms my hair. So I guess it also gets rid of the frizzies. Go lite on the amount used. You do not need much. Start off with a little and add more depending on your hair. The only thing that I am having a bit of trouble with is the nozzle. I just make a mess. Maybe it’s the angle I am depressing the nozzle in that it dribbles out and goes everywhere. Maybe the bottle is not weighted right? Or just my problem? All in all, the product itself is great.

Best product. I apply it after the head bath when my hair is almost dried and it makes my hair super smooth and all my frizziness is disappeared once I started using this. It also smells so good like vanilla flavor. Makes my hair shiny too.

All I needed was a tiny bit of a pump and it was more than enough for my hairLeft my hair, incredibly easy to comb out, and made it very shiny and soft while blow drying it. Definitely helped while heat styling.

Love it. It’s so hydrating for the hair & the smell of coconut is just heavenly!I use it after showering on somewhat dry hair, just the lengths not on the scalp focusing on my dry ends. It makes my hair soft and shiny and smelling nice. My ends feel hydrated and my hair shiny after applying it.My hair is not too thick but it’s not thin. The oil doesn’t feel heavy on my hair, you can put a little amount and add more if you want to. Just see what your hair needs.For the price it works perfectly. I recommend it and I love this brand!

Actually works. I have been giving my mom weekly Spa Days as managing her shampoo had gotten to be too much for her. After a few months I noticed her long/gray/frizzy hair appeared to be getting shorter! I switched her from S#### “coconut” shampoo and conditioner to OGX products. When I noticed this anti-breakage serum, I bought it too. I did not have much expectation of it working! as many products promise more than they deliver.After about 10 weeks, not only have we both noticed her hair is “growing” again (meaning it is not breaking faster than it can grow), the serum also adds a sparkle to gray hair! I squirt two pumps onto my hands and work it through the lower half of her toweled combed hair, then comb again and let dry. The frizz becomes ringlets! “It’s not gray hair; it’s Wisdom Glitter!”My own hair is half gray, and kept short. Although I am not concerned with breakage, I may try this just for the sparkle!

My favorite. I use this for my hair and skin after every shower. Smells amazing and leaves everything soft and silky.

Excellent. It smells so good . My hair is growing and hair is not dropping .I use it after I take a shower just apply little in your hand and put it all over your head .Highly recommend.

game changer.. great price too. cheap and great to use. i wet my hair in the pool, and put this stuff on. the best way to do it is to shower then put it on but im lazy .. love this stuff!
