Won’t replace your tennis shoes but should still have a place in your shoe collection. I was surprised at how much I liked these shoes. It feels like I’m walking barefoot and the first couple of days seemed to work parts of my legs and feet as I could really feel it. My feet feel like they have opened up and I can now notice how cramped my other shoes are.I don’t feel like they are as versatile as tennis shoes as I couldn’t see myself wearing these in every situation. I also don’t feel like they will last as long as a tennis shoe though they seem priced appropriately to offset this. The biggest con I would mention is that I sound like a duck when I walk on hard floors: “Flap…Flap..”, the lack of cushion is also felt in the rest of my body but it is no worse than if I were walking barefoot. These won’t replace my tennis shoes but I find myself wearing them more and more and I may even be starting to prefer them. This feels like a much more natural way of walking and I feel like I’m giving my feet a bit of a break from all the strenuous things I put them through when wearing them.
Great Shoes. After watching a YouTube video about the health benifits of barefoot shoes I decided to buy an all black pair for work. So far I am loving them! They are very light weight and the material on the bottom is a good quality rubber. They squeak like basketball shoes when running around which is a testament to how good they grip the floor. People complaining about them being too thin are just being snobbish. That is why they call them barefoot shoes. You’re not supposed to hike in them or walk on jagged objects. I would not recommend that. Thats what hiking shoes were made for. I can already feel my hammer toe on my right foot stretching out. It feels sore but that just means they are working as intended. Great shoes 5 out of 5 for me. Will be buying a gray pair. The only thing I have to complain about is the shipping was very late and I needed these for work.
Awesome shoe – just wow. I have wide feet and have been looking for good fitting shoes for a while now. I typically have only bought Clarks previously, as they have a good variety of Wide shoes and their shoes were very comfortable. Last few years, Clarks designs have not been good and some of their wide shoes were not comfortable. My son turned me onto wide toe box shoes and I researched on Amazon and settled on Whitin.Cannot say enough good things about these shoes. They are so comfortable – feels like you are walking around in your favorite comfy slippers. There is some support however I use an insole anyway due to Plantar Fasciitis. I used these on my vacation and walked for miles and it just felt so good. No chafing, no aching – just pure comfort.
Wide feet happy. I have wide feet and normally buy zero drop style shoes as they tend to be sized to fit real feet. These shoes do not disappoint, I wore them all day Sat, without even breaking them in. I was walking around a car show and these were perfect and comfortable. They have a small amount of cushion and they fit my wide feet very well. I will be buying additional colors of these as they fit very well and are comfortable for all day wear. Also they price is half of what I normally pay for other styles.
Purchase these with toe socks for best use of shoes. I use to wear XX-wide or 6E wide shoes with a wide toe box. But I’d still have a constant painful squeezing around my toes. My big toe joints and pinky toes were still being forced inward even when not walking. I didn’t know what I could do to be able to walk pain free. After some research I found Foot Shaped Minimalist shoes. So, I decided to try them. My first pair i ordered, what I thought would fit me. I didn’t measure my feet. What i got were to large. So, I gave them to my mother to try. Which happened to fit her perfectly. She is so Happy to no longer have painful swollen feet and ankles at the end of the day. She has decided to order 2 more pairs for herself and toss out the hundred dollars plus shoes that promised pain free feet, but never relieved her pain. My mother is diabetic. I got her toe socks with her shoes. Before, she was unable to touch her toes due to sharp pain. She has noticed that when she lotions her feet. Her pain is getting less and less as the days go by. I ordered my pair After i took my feet measurements ordered. I absolutely love my shoes. But I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, you also purchase toe socks. So, you can actually use the foot shape of the shoes to best benefit your walk, stability, and as pain free as you can be. I have also told my brother about them. He actually got his pair not long ago. He is enjoying them. He also had the same problem as myself with finding shoes that are wide enough around the toes. I got a pair for my husband. He is in the beginning stages of getting a bunion. He has stated. That he keeps forgetting he even has shoes on. The kids are next on the list to Foot Shaped Minimalist shoes. These shoes would make awesome gifts. The gift of being pain free when walking. Just, remember to purchase the toe socks with them.
My 16-month experience and comaprison. I bought this shoe in March 2023 and started hiking 10 miles per week with a 50 pound vest on forest trails. In addition, it was my daily casual shoe. The following items recount my experience. Further below I will note differences between last year’s shoe and the new one.At first I was extremely pleased with the comfort! The flat rubber soles really let you fell the ground below. The forest trails are rough, with stones and twigs. Even walking on flat asphalt I noticed a profoundly different foot sensations. Even when I step on the brake pedal in the truck I can actually feel the pedal response. When I do that with work boots I can’t feel the pedal at all and just rely on the speed response.Second, the wide toe box allows the toes to spread apart, especially when walking the forest trail. My feet conform to the trail rather than the shoe. I get a sense of better grip when walking as well as a heightened sense of control.Third, the shoes never fell apart until after a year’s use, when I downgraded them to work shoes and really beat them up. Based on my experience with Allstar shoes I expected the Whiten shoe to eventually die from sole separation. That never happened. The canvass remained firmly glued to the sole – no crumbling or separation like the Allstars. It was only after 3 months of abuse that the canvass started wearing through, as shown in the photo.Fourth, these Whiten shoes have metal eyelets. I see a lot of other shoes with molded-in eyelets that fail by pulling out. I like the full metal eyelets because I pull on the laces really hard. The original laces when the entire distance. The new shoe has all the same fit and feel. The only difference is that the old shoe upper is canvass, whereas the new shoe appears to be a synthetic material. Same styling and real rubber soles. I’m back on the trail and will report next year as to the wear experience.
Have owned these for a bit over a year, and they held up very well to regular wear.
Wide toe box. I actually have three pairs: black, brown and these gray. I love the shoe for shorter trips around town and are mostly comfortable. The room in the toe box is phenomenal! My toes never feel jammed together. The soles, however, are not as great. After 5-6 hours, my feet start to complain with the lack of cushion in the bottom. Theme park shoes, definitely not. Running errands, yes. Mostly sitting at a computer with the occasional walk about the office, yes. With that said, durability has not been an issue for me, all three pairs still look great and I’ve had two of the three pairs for about two years now.
Wow. TLDR: GET THEM. WORTH IT FOR DAILY GYM LIFE!!!Ok I was skeptical with these because 1. it’s a no brand and 2. it’s on amazon. I was on the barefoot market for a very long time trying to research which is worth getting. I saw reviews for the toed-shoes and the ones that are pricey like Vivo Barefoot. I was going to go for the expensive pair, but came across alllll the raving reviews for this shoe. I kind of went in blind hoping that these were decent since amazon has a lot of bot reviews. but I have to be honest… these are AMAZING for my wide (bunion) feet. I was experiencing a lot of tense muscles/ knots under my feet, even with custom inserts, so I decided to go with barefoot to “train” the muscles in my feet to get stronger on their own without support. I started strength training at the gym with these and omg they’re amazing for leg days. My squat form is way better thanks to these. I even use em on the treadmill, but if you run and go long distances, it will probably start making your feet sore. Wear high quality socks and slowly break these in to get the benefits. I don’t go to the gym without them anymore. They’re solid and have not fallen apart on me yet. It’s been about a month or two with them and I can honestly vouch for how legit these are.Heck, try these walking around your home. You’ll love them! Super lightweight and comfortable. They also feel more breathable than most sneakers -a true godsend because I also get sweaty extremities!

cozy and budget-friendly. I recently got my hands on a pair of WHITIN minimalist shoes, and I couldn’t be more pleased. These shoes perfectly blend comfort and affordability, making them a fantastic addition to any minimalist wardrobe.ComfortFrom the moment I slipped them on, I felt an incredible level of comfort. The soft, breathable materials hug your feet without feeling restrictive. Whether I was running errands or just lounging around, they provided the perfect support for all-day wear. The cushioned insole offers just the right amount of padding, ensuring that my feet felt great, even after hours on the go.StyleThe sleek, minimalist design is a major plus. They come in a variety of neutral colors that easily match any outfit, from casual jeans to dressier looks. The understated aesthetic makes them versatile enough for both everyday wear and more polished occasions.AffordabilityOne of the standout features of Aminaminlist shoes is their price point. It’s refreshing to find a quality product that doesn’t break the bank. They offer excellent value without compromising on style or comfort, making them accessible for anyone looking to elevate their shoe collection without overspending.DurabilityAfter wearing them for a few weeks, I can confidently say they hold up well. The materials feel sturdy, and I haven’t noticed any signs of wear and tear. For a shoe in this price range, that’s impressive.ConclusionOverall, Aminaminlist shoes are a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a cozy and budget-friendly option. They combine comfort, style, and affordability seamlessly. If you’re in the market for a reliable pair of shoes that won’t drain your wallet, I highly recommend giving them a try!
Beyond comfortable. I’m in my 40s, so I’ve worn a few pairs of shoes in my life. I cannot get over how comfortable these are. My feet hurt all the time, from the moment I wake up until I’m falling asleep but they feel the best wearing these shoes. Better than barefoot around the house; better than work boots with fancy inserts; better than off my feet on the couch. I have no idea why this is the case, I sincerely wish I did because it might shed some light on the overall problem but, for now, I’ll enjoy the unexplainable. I haven’t had these long, so no testimonial on the durability and longevity yet but they’re proving to be a good deal for the price paid. They fit great, according to standard sizing. I’m not mountain climbing in these, mostly my days-off-from-work shoes, but I’ve had no complaints their performance running errands, taking the dog on walks etc.
Function > Form. This is my first pair of Whitin shoes and also my first pair of wide toe box shoes. They also just happen to be the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve ever owned. There is no break-in period. They were amazing from the first time I put them on. With that said, they are also probably the goofiest looking pair of shoes I’ve ever owned. I wear a size 13 so I jokingly refer to these as my clown shoes. However, I’m at the age where I’m not concerned with the look of my shoes as much as the comfort.I bought a couple pairs of Brooks shoes recently and had to go to a size 14 to allow for sufficient space for my toes. As a result it feels like I’m wearing skis, which is especially annoying when I’m driving my manual transmission car. They work great for my running routine and for when I’m going to be on my feet all day, but that’s about it. The Whitin shoes with the wide toe box allow me to buy a size 13 which fits much better and allows me to feel the peddles in my MT much more.I highly recommend these shoes and I’m sure this will be my first pair of many!
Good for a few months. Good and very comfortable for a few months and eventually the soles on the inside wear down fast and the fit eventually becomes loose and doesn’t feel “stable” but it did look very nice and these were amazing the first few months. No pain whatsoever
I love these shoes. I have had these for atleast 4 months I wear them everyday. Comfy, minimalistic, they look great(imo). I work with the deceased family so I have to look professional, I stopped wearing my dress shoes. These look good enough to pass. No rips or tares yet, they breath very well. They fit me and true to size. Wide toe box is awesome! Can wear and walk in them all day with no issue. They have decent grip(nothing real aggressive). I was wanting xero or hobi minimal shoes but why pay $80+ for minimal and simple shoes? Kinda annoying to think about how less goes into primal type shoes yet they try to charge more. I WILL KEEP BUYING THESE UNTIL THY CHANGE OR STOP MAKING THEM, LIKE A BORING GRANDMA.
