Too White. I have very fair skin, and when I set my ivory foundation, it puts a white sheen on my face. It doesn’t go away. It is very nice texture, I was just surprised by how white it make me. I used it for a week and when at my doctor’s appointment, she asked what was so wrong, you are so white? Maybe you need more iron, etc. I stopped using it after that!
Like it. I like this a lot! It really blurs your skin. I only use it under my eyes. Be careful of using too much as it can look really white on the skin if you don’t just use a small layer
Perfect Elf powder. Perfect powder for setting before and after make-up is applied. Light weight, but holds with out being or felling cakey. It has a mirror in the compact and the compact design has the powder section lifting up, and you could place a small flat bush or puff in the bottom of the case, its very nice. The powder is not so loose or lightly packed that it gets all over, which is really nice. Use it every day, I love the Elf product line over all.
Great dupe for high end brand. I purchased this to hold me over before buying my usual much more expensive brand of setting powder, but I’m not sure I’ll ever go back! This works perfectly and sets my iT foundation beautifully! It is long lasting and non-clumping and absolutely everything I’d like in a setting powder! Great buy!!

Love the Product, Hate the Shipping. ELF is one of my favorite brands for affordable makeup. Their products are generally average to good quality and their prices are competitive. This setting powder is no different. I’ve been using it for a few months now, so let me share some of the pros and cons of the product.First, though, I would like to mention that when I purchased this through Amazon (as opposed to directly from ELF or in person at a drugstore) the powder, which is a pressed powder in a plastic case, arrived completely shattered. Not entirely unusable if you’re willing to use it more like a loose setting powder as opposed to a pressed one, but very annoying. Beware of that before purchasing this through Amazon.As for the products itself, it is exactly as advertised. Some of the things I like the most is how it blurs my skin to look almost like I’m wearing a filter in real life. I usually use it as a second to last step in my makeup routine to keep from looking shiny or oily. Sometimes I use it just on my bare skin or with a little bit of primer when I don’t feel like doing a full face just to give my skin that slightly polished look.It is also very lightweight and sheer as long as you don’t use too much, but it does tend to last most of the day even with my oily skin type. Please keep in mind this is coming from a white teenager. I cannot personally attest to how this looks on skin any different than mine, whether that be in color, texture, or oil level.A few cons to this product, when you get to the last few bits of powder, it tends to be difficult to use as it breaks up and get stuck in my brush. This is a common issue I have with pressed powders, and as far as issues go it’s not a big one. It just makes finishing up the product difficult and I usually find myself trashing the last remaining bits once I get a new one.Over all, I would give the product four stars. It’s great for the price and it works for me. If you think it might work for you, I’d say give it a go.
My fav product in 5 yrs. Being in your 50s, there is no way to avoid the inevitable fine lines, wrinkles, and the extremes when you are tired or didnt sleep well and suddenly all those people who don’t believe you are over 50 are asking if you feel ok because you aged 10 years overnight just by being tired. You know tomorrow you will be normal but wow does it all stand out today. If you arent there yet, the day will come.I have tried countless products for those days and for special occasions. Most of the time i am doing things that aren’t compatible with a full face of makeup so i needed a miracle product for when i need a miracle….and I don’t spend a ton of money on cosmetics so i started with the reasonable products first hoping i would find one.This powder is friggin craaaazy. It is by far my favorite product in 5 years, easily. I panic if i cant find it bc what if i need it? It truly blurs fine lines, even sometimes if i get bags from being up all night, you can barely see the line st all. It helps around eyes, mouth, forehead, etc. I use it on my entire face. I don’t use alot but i dont skimp either. 90% of the time i am not using anything else except under eye concealer, mascara, eye liner. I live in the south so i tend to have color without trying so i dont use a foundation and rarely need a blush. So i often am using this as my one and only face product. I cant even believe how much it helps me.. It makes me laugh. i actually came here to get another one not bc i am out but bc i get anxiety if i leave it in a purse and cant find it. I need a backup. Being an eye makeup primarily person i cant believe the major difference this makes. If you dont have anything to blur, maybe it will just give you the air of perfection, if you do,have lines and wrinkles, it is absolutely worth trying to see if it works for you like it did for me. I may add pictures if i get the chance just hecause you can see a difference but for now, the review is by far 5 star. Not disappointed in amazon or e.l.f. Mainly my own fault for not reading, but the first couple of sentences maybe and so I should’ve chosen a color that matched my skin tone for the purpose I was buying. But e.l.f did provide exactly the product they described, it was just not what I was looking for, but again my own fault and I am keeping it as I may need it down the road at some point and it was so reasonably priced I couldn’t give it back.
Great substitute for the more expensive brand. I found this product a couple years ago when I needed something comparable to an expensive brand finishing powder that I finally figured out was making my eyes twitch. I have very sensitive eyes and rarely wear eyeshadow or anything powdery. I like this pressed powder formula and use a flat powder puff to apply. I use a large powder brush to wipe of any excess. Such an affordable and effective product. Thank you! I wish it came in a bigger size though.
