Fantastic product. This product by Redken is terrific. It can be used in two ways. One is to apply it to damp hair after shampooing and conditioning; it detangles to avoid breakage and hair fall and acts as an air dry balm, leaving your hair conditioned, soft, shiny, smooth, and full. Just use a dollop, rub it in your palms, and apply to damp hair, starting at the ends and working your way up to the roots. The other way to use this product is as a leave in conditioner; dampen your hair and apply this roots to ends, more on the ends. Put your hair up and put on a dome shaped ski hat, and go to bed. Morning, just rinse it out, using very warm water, then shampoo & condition. Your hair will be in better condition. My hair is fine, dry, frizzy, long, graying, and color treated. If it makes my hair look much better, imagine what it will do for you. Definitely worth the expense. Smells fresh and clean, too, like grapefruit.Use with Redken Frizz Dismiss shampoo and conditioner. Rinse out the shampoo with warm water. Rinse out the conditioner with cool water, then give your hair a cold water rinse. Use Redken Rebel Tame leave in conditioner as an air dry balm by applying to damp hair and then combing it through. Try not to blow dry your hair or use heat styling, which only makes your hair drier and damages it. Using this Redken product line will help your hair be in better condition.

A good price. I got it from Ulta first and I love it. And since Amazon prime day,it was cheaper so I got it.Cream texture or smell are same but writing on that package is a little difference.I’m not for sure Amazon one is authentic or not. I need to try to see if it works the same or not.Once I try it on,I need to update that review
Worked wonders on my hair. In April, a visit to a new hair salon became a disaster. The foiled color was left on too long, and my hair was fried. I wear my hair quite short, so cutting off the damaged ends was not a practical (nor an esthetically pleasing) option. Picture a cornfield after the corn has been harvested. The salon owner suggested I try this. It worked a miracle on my hair. After the first use, my hair was much softer and had shine. Continued use has improved it even more. The product is not greasy, has no sticky residue, has very little odor, is not drying and a little goes a long way. Redken has made excellent hair products for years, but this, in my opinion, is one of the best. My hair is fine without much body. This product helps address that as well. From a first hand (and a disastrous) experience, I can highly recommend this product. (No pictures on this one, folks! Cringeworthy is an understatement.)

Holy grail. Omg! I am so glad I picked this product over olaplex etc. My long hair got completely damaged after I used a bad DIY highlight kit. It was completely fried so I had to cut it short. But there was still some damage and breakage whenever I brushed it. I have used every product there is, but nothing helped much. I love Redken, personally speaking. But this was my first time trying this leave-in treatment. I am so pleased with the results. My hair did not break and I could brush it without any resistance, tangles or hair-fall. This product does what it promises. I ordered a small size because I did not want it to be just another product sitting in my drawer because it didn’t help. Now I am going to buy a full size. My hair feels alive after many months. Wish I had tried this before I decided to cut my hair.
The best leave-in conditioner for damage. My hair was recently damaged due to texlaxing it, and I went ahead and bought this one after doing some research. I have to say this is the best I’ve found. It is not greasy and has a great scent to it. Super lightweight but also acts as a heat protectant. When using it before blow drying it cuts down my drying time significantly. Because the ingredients are synthetic it isn’t incredibly moisturizing but it’s definitely strengthening. I went ahead and purchased the larger size after trying the smaller one. I can’t imagine using a different leave-in now. Will stick with this one.
Amazing detangler. Disclaimer I have fine straight hair. My hair tangles so easily and this makes it SO much easier to brush through. I’ve been using it for a few months and I can’t speak on any bond repair but it definitely has minimized breakage. Also leaves my hair looking and feeling thicker. Have gotten a lot of compliments on my hair looking healthier when I use it and also smells great.

Soft hair. I had just gotten my hair lightened significantly at the salon. The person doing it seemed a bit lost, but did an adequate job and added something to attempt to protect my hair. After, my hairs color looked good and there wasn’t noticeable damage but it felt dry and a bit. This product is gross expensive, but works very well. My hair felt so soft after and smelled f good.
TBD but so far so good. March 2024- I was on the fence about buying this or the olaplex competition. This was on sale so I decided to go for it instead of having decision freeze. I put this on my mids and ends after a shower and some light towel drying . The smell is nice, not too strong and it doesn’t leave a sticky feel on your hands or hair. I’ve had some major breakage over the last few yrs from just simply not taking care of myself or putting myself first, and I’m hopeful this will start fixing the health of my hair, especially because I want to keep it long. We’ll see how it does when I finish the bottle! (That’s why I put the date)

My daughter has thick, Afro-mixed girl hair. I have 4a-4c combo of hair. Our hair gets dry. Her hair doesn’t behave well with heavy natural products, it also doesn’t do too well with lighter, inexpensive brands like Pantene, Aussie, etc. i wanted a professional outcome for my silk presses at home because salons overcharge for services. I found a classic salon brand shampoo/conditioner set that does well, but I needed a better heat protectant. This product provided results on first use! I chose the 1oz to try and we both have hair at least 5-6 in past our shoulders, hers being longer and pretty much middle of her back. We were both able to get a good application and I am sure I will get at least a second use for both of us. I will be restocking this product with the full size. I have used many oil based, or common store brands and been disappointed with the outcome. Our hair was fully protected with this product. No burnt smell after applying heat, ends were smooth and not brittle, no product buildup on flat iron, hair was weightless, flowy, and soft, the product has a pleasant smell that dissipates after blow drying. This product is clearly what separates a professional outcome from a self styled outcome. A little goes a long way so this is well worth the money! I applied about 1-1/2 to 2 pea-sized squeezes of product to each section of hair (hair divided into 5 sections). Good hair product. I use this Redken product after towel drying my hair. You only need a small amount otherwise your hair will feel like it has too much product in it. Keeps the split ends and frizzies at bay. I love the light scent too. It’s pricy but a tube lasts a very long time.
It’s good. I have almost platinum blonde hair and my hair is naturally black…so yeah I’ve got quite the damage going on 😅I’ve been using this for about 4 months now and it made my hair feel better, it’s softer and feels a bit stronger, is it the best leave in conditioner for damaged hair? For me, I would say maybe there’s something out there better than this because I don’t notice my hair getting any better than the first few times I used it. If your hair is just damaged lightly tho I would say you would love this! If your hair is like mine and has been thru multiple bleaching sessions I would do more research. It’s got a nice smell and a little does go a long way 🙂
Hair got damaged, this fixed it in a week. Damaged my hair with some product I used to make my hair bigger as it is flat and using a flat iron not washing my hair daily fried it. This took my hair from dead, dull, and dry to silky, soft, and bright- back to normal and I am happy. Great product worth the price it lasts a long time!
