Changed the way I feel about my hair. I’ve been waiting to write a review about Toppik until I’ve used a few bottles to see how the product holds up in different weather and conditions. I absolutely love it.I have Alopecia and (bad) thinning on my crown. I wore a partial hairpiece for years, which looked great and did the trick. But for any of you ladies out there in the same position, you know what a human hairpiece means. It’s expensive, so for me, I could only have two, and they were identical pieces. They were dyed to match my hair, which meant I had to color my hair exactly the same color for years. And the style never changed, short bob forever. Not to mention the maintenance, head forms in the bathroom, and having to replace the hairpieces when they wear out.I decided to give Toppik a try because I wanted to see if I could use it and feel comfortable with my own hair. To explain my level of thinning, I would never go out of the house without a hat or hairpiece. Ever.Once I started using Toppik, the hairpieces and head forms went into the closet and they haven’t come back out! I love love love this stuff. I started out using Toppik with the spray applicator, which worked well for a while. But then I noticed the spray applicator wasn’t working as well as it once had. I would pump once and have to wait forever for the air to refill the pumper and it would take a long time to cover my thinning areas using this method. So I finally popped the sprayer off and used the shake method. Works like a charm.Because I am thin all over my crown, I use the sharp end of a comb, start at one side of my head, slightly above my ear, and create a part to the back of my head. Shake on the Toppik from back to front (careful near your face! it can be messy). Repeat the process about half an inch apart all the way across my head. Once I’m done, I use a cotton ball to clean my face and hairline of any Toppik that has gotten out of control (especially check the nose and under your eyes). Quick check with a handheld mirror for coverage, and then I usually use some type of defrizz or smoother on my hair. When I put that on, I do end up with Toppik on my hands from rubbing my hair, no biggie. After that I use regular hairspray which seems to work well to lock the Toppik in place. I believe there is a product you can buy to do this, but I’ve never used it.Since I’ve started using Toppik I’ve grown my hair out. I haven’t had long hair in about 10 years because I had to conform to the hairpiece, but not anymore! I can wear my hair wavy or straight again, when before I always had to blow-dry it straight to match the hairpiece. I love my hair again, which isn’t something I thought I would ever be able to say.And there is a weird side effect of the Toppik for me. Normally if I wash my hair in the morning, and don’t use Toppik, by the next morning, my hair is starting to get a little greasy, not a problem if I’m wearing a hat, but even before my hair loss, I washed my hair every day. When I use the Toppik, my hair looks awesome the second day! It ends up super full from the roots down and not oily at all. I can sometimes go three days without washing it, which would have seemed crazy to me before using this product. The best I can surmise is that the Toppik absorbs the oil my scalp is secreting?? Anyway, I don’t really care, because it means I can get two, sometimes three great hair days out of one styling and application of the Toppik. So the downside? It is really messy. No matter how careful I am, I still end up with Toppik all over the sink and counter, and I use dark brown, so it really shows. As messy as it is, I really don’t care. It could be ten times messier and I would still use it. Because until you’ve gone through the difficulty of losing your hair, you will never understand how amazing it feels to get compliments on your own real hair again!!I have been out in the rain with no problem, and worked out. While working out, when my head gets sweaty and I wipe it with a towel, there is Toppik on the towel. I just make sure to be careful. Have not gone swimming in it, and probably won’t try.I’ve also used Great Hair Day powder and really liked it, but for the amount of coverage I now need, Toppik is the product for me. If you are on the fence, order the smallest size and try it. You can always send it back if it doesn’t work for you, and it could change the way you feel about your hair!
Not bad, Toppik, but let’s be clear about a few things. So, if you’re bothering to read reviews about anything like this in your ongoing battle with baldness, then let me be clear, right up front – the hair loss is winning the war. To terribly misquote Jim Morrison, “No hair gets out of here alive”…. So, you’re hoping against all odds that some miracle product will be a cheap, effective, undetectable cure-all in your fight against genetics or disease…well, the good news is THIS PRODUCT KIND OF WORKS. Let me be as transparent as the fine little hairs you’re hoping will grow on your head – if you have some hair, but it’s thinning pretty bad, this stuff will make it look fuller and hide some of the dreaded scalp showing through – however, if you plan on people getting really close to it, you can see the toppik on your scalp (at least, the dark colors show up if you’re Caucasian or light skinned) – but this should work well for a job interview, a date in a restaurant, an acting/theatre gig, maybe even a family gathering – but if you plan on getting lucky and he/she not noticing the smudges on the pillow in the morning, you are out of luck….If battling hair loss is what you’re up against, then Toppik is, metaphorically, another tool in the tool box. Use it with along with everything else – but use it in moderation. Too much and you’re a powdered, bald donut. Finally, don’t blindly listen to the claims by some of these Amazon reviewers saying it’s “amazing” and “no one noticed” – because, if anyone looked close enough, they probably could tell you’ve got cornstarch type colored powder layering your nearly hairless scalp. On the other hand, don’t listen to all these complainers saying it doesn’t work at all or that it’s garbage – they’re just angry, balding trolls with sweaty scalps who were just hoping to find a dirt cheap solution to a problem that has plagued men and women forever. If you have little or no hair, this product really won’t work – but if you’re in the middle of your hair-less fight, you’ll have some pretty good luck with this. I hope this review helps – as I’m someone who’s done Bosley, Propecia, Rogaine, Toppik, Tocotrienols and have had some luck with all of them. If, after my long winded review you’re still unsure (and you should be) then buy the tiny cheap bottle of Toppik (it will set you back around $10 with shipping) – it’s a small price to pay to see if a product works for you. Thanks, and God bless you, tiny little hairs, God bless you, every one.

The Solution for Thinning Hair. I have to say, I was extremely skeptical when I first heard about Toppik Hair Building Fibers. I mean, the name alone sounds like something straight out of a science fiction movie. But as someone who has been dealing with thinning hair for years, I was willing to give it a shot. And let me tell you, I’m so glad I did!First of all, the application process couldn’t be easier. All you have to do is shake the bottle onto your thinning areas, and voila! Instantly thicker and fuller-looking hair. I was honestly amazed at how well it blended in with my natural hair color (I went with the white shade). And the best part? It stayed put all day, even through sweat and humidity. Now, I have to admit, I was a little worried about what would happen if it rained. I mean, would I end up looking like a Dalmatian with white spots all over my head? But I put it to the test during a recent downpour, and I’m happy to report that my hair stayed looking great. No embarrassing white streaks in sight! And let’s talk about the humor factor here. I mean, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve caught someone staring at my head, trying to figure out if I’m balding or just have a weird hairline. But with Toppik, I’m pretty sure people are just looking at me because they’re jealous of my luscious locks! Okay, maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but it does feel pretty great to have a full head of hair again.Overall, I’d give Toppik Hair Building Fibers four out of five stars. It’s not a miracle cure for baldness, but it definitely does the trick in making thinning hair look fuller and more voluminous. And hey, if nothing else, it’s a great conversation starter. Just be prepared to explain what “hair fibers” are to all your curious friends!Toppik Hair Building Fibers are a popular solution for thinning hair and hair loss. Here are some dos and don’ts to consider when using Toppik Hair Building Fibers:Dos:1. Do apply Toppik Hair Building Fibers to clean, dry hair. Use a dry towel to remove any excess oil or moisture from your hair before applying the fibers.2. Do use the Toppik Hairline Optimizer tool to achieve a natural-looking hairline. This tool helps to distribute the fibers evenly and avoid clumping.3. Do shake the Toppik Hair Building Fibers onto your hair gently and evenly. Start at the back of your head and work your way forward. Use a light touch to avoid clumping.4. Do use the Toppik FiberHold Spray to help lock in the fibers and create a longer-lasting hold. Spray the FiberHold Spray over the fibers and wait for it to dry before touching your hair.5. Do use a hairbrush or comb to style your hair after applying Toppik Hair Building Fibers. This will help to distribute the fibers and create a natural-looking style.Don’ts:1. Don’t apply Toppik Hair Building Fibers to wet or damp hair. This can cause the fibers to clump together and create an unnatural appearance.2. Don’t use too much Toppik Hair Building Fibers at once. A little goes a long way, and using too much can create a heavy or unnatural look.3. Don’t touch your hair too much after applying Toppik Hair Building Fibers. This can cause the fibers to come loose or clump together, creating an unnatural appearance.4. Don’t apply Toppik Hair Building Fibers to bald spots or areas with no hair. These fibers are designed to attach to existing hair, and applying them to bald spots can create an uneven or unnatural appearance.5. Don’t apply Toppik Hair Building Fibers to areas of your scalp that are irritated or have open wounds. This can cause further irritation and potentially make the problem worse.
You need to get this if you’re hair’s thinning. I’m 45 and have thinning hair around my forehead. I learned about this product from a professional hairdresser. And let me tell you it lives up to the hype. Yet I’ve never heard of it before, so it’s possible the ‘ Hype’ is coming! It has a tool to help with application, by the product arrived first. I tried it and without the blender tool. A little sprinkle at the roots and I was amazed! If it gets on your forehead a little it’s easy to wipe away. To set the fibers that where just applied to your hairline, add a little hairspray! After using this, you won’t want to buy any other products out there.
Product is superior. I have thinning hair and it’s in the front. Just a quick sprinkle and I look normal again. I don’t know if it’s waterproof though. It glunks up like tiny beads that are noticeable with tiny bald patches in between if I sweat. I think if it was not waterproof, it might run down my face which it does not. But I wish it didn’t separate and stayed as smooth as when I first sprinkle it on. It needs to look completely natural.
Color is perfect. Color was perfect for my hair color. I had already purchased dark blonde and medium brown because they were the only colors available in stores. They didn’t look that good.
parfait pour moi qui manque d’intensité dans le haut de la tête
IT WORKS. I’m not one to write product reviews but I had to on this stuff because it actually works. I have a full head of hair, basically an afro, but I have one spot in the back thats thinning and it was starting to make me super self conscious because its very visible to the point where my friends & family were pointing out the balding spot. After researching some products like this, this one was the most highly rated so I went for it. It IMMEDIATELY filled in and covered up my thinning spot and it didn’t take much at all. If you have a full balding head I wouldn’t recommend this, so I can see where some of the negative reviews are probably coming from. But if you’re just trying to fill in a thinning spot like me, this is the PERFECT solution!
Bought for my mom. My mom’s hair is thinning and she asked for help to find ways to make her hair look more full . This product is magic. She has some more balder spots toward the back and once I applied the product it’s like they never existed. Highly recommend for anyone with thinning hair!
Works great. I can’t say enough about this product. It not only covers my thinning areas (right in front on the top of my head!) but it also adds some thickness/fiber type feeling that helps my hair feel and look thicker also. I’m on my third bottle of this LOL
Never expected this result. It actually works. I had a huge hair loss and people started seeing me as a bald guy, but some people really got shocked, saying that I have covered all the skinny area but I’m sad. It is a little bit expensive. I don’t know. I can afford to buy it once in three months.
Amazing product. I have no words to describe how grateful i am that these hair fibers exist! I have been shedding hair at a traumatizing rate, and have a balding spot at the top of my short bangs that has made me so self concious i havent wanted to leave my house. Somebody in a female hair loss social media group recommended Toppik hair fibers to fill it in. I had VERY low expectations that it would work or even be a match for my dyed auburn hair. To say i am pleasantly surprised is a HUGE understatement!! These hair fibers have given me the confidence to feel comfortable leaving the house again while i begin what i imagine will be a long road to gaining back my hair (tackling nutritional deficiencies and regulating my stress/hormones)
WOW! Impressed and blown away. These are amazing! I really had no idea these could work this well. I don’t have balding or even noticeably thin hair, but it is not as dense as I would like and these fibers do an amazing job of sticking to the hair and really increasing density. They also really help fill in any bald spots. Easy to apply. Can look a little fake if you use too much due to how black they make the hair but otherwise are a great purchase.
Must have for thinning hair. I didn’t know that I needed this product so badly!! I have been using it for several months now and it is worth every penny! After I put it on, I spray it lightly with a light hairspray and it last for several days until my next wash. I will never be without this product again!
Life Saver. I’m a guy with long hair. That’s kind of always been my look and I was really upset when I started to get a bald spot on the back of my head. Minoxidil has filled in the thinning spot and this product has worked FLAWLESSLY in the meantime. My hair looks better than it has in 10 years. A few shakes of a can and I have my confidence back. For minor thinning/bald spots like mine this is a miracle product. It truly seems to work like magic.
Magic in a Bottle – A Must-Have for Thinning Hair. This product is truly amazing. I started experiencing some temporary hair loss due to stress, particularly around my hairline, and at my crown and a friend recommended Toppik. I was skeptical at first, but after trying it—wow. It’s like magic in a bottle! It has become a must-have in my beauty toolkit. Although my hairline has started to recover, I still use it when I need a little extra volume. It’s subtle, effective, and gives instant results, that generally lasts until it’s washed out. I can’t recommend it enough!Pros:Undetectable Coverage: The fibers blend seamlessly with my natural hair and are completely undetectable. It instantly gives the appearance of fuller, thicker hair.Confidence Booster: It’s become a staple in my routine, especially when I need a polished look or just want to feel more confident.Easy to Use: Simple to apply, especially once you get the hang of it. I use it specifically on my hairline and it makes a noticeable difference.Con:Dispenser Sold Separately: For best results, I highly recommend buying the dispenser, which unfortunately is not included. It makes application much more precise and less messy.
Best brand. I am a cosmologist and this is by far my favorite brand of hair fibers. It’s easy to use and comes in a little shake bottle. The fibers come out easily and don’t clump together, plus it comes in a lot of different colors. It helps so much with making hair look thicker and hiding bald/thinning spots.
