Mielle Organics Rosemary Mint Strengthening Edge Gel, Biotin & Essential Oil Hair Styling Treatment, 2 Ounces

Sample sized product. Revision 05/14/2023: I am still using daily the same 2oz container of Rosemary Mint Edge I purchased in December, 2022. A tube of conventional hair gel would normally last me two months at the most. I can see this lasting at least until July. Amazing product!————-An update to my original review below. I started using this product in December being very impressed by the Rosemary Mint shampoo, oil and masque I had previously purchased. Although the gel is in a 2oz container (without tamper proof protection – which is disconcerting) I have to say that just a little goes a long way. I use this daily and it will probably be the beginning of March before I need to purchase again. So with my usage it probably lasts three months.Although this appears to be marketed for women and particularly those of African descent – Mielle’s Rosemary Mint products are suitable for ALL hair types, regardless of race and gender. I am an aging Caucasian male with fine, thinning, grey hair and my wife is Asian with strong thick hair. We both love the Mielle Rosemary Mint range of hair products.My method of applying the Rosemary Mint Edge Gel: after shampooing and while hair is still damp, take a very small amount of the gel spread on fingertips and tap or stroke it over combed hair. Comb again to style. When hair is dry, comb out. Result: a natural soft style without the glue-like residue or brittleness of commercial gels.Use of the Mielle Rosemary Mint range leaves the scalp clean and refreshed. I highly recommend this product but wish that it would come with a tamper proof seal.— Previous review below —The Mielle Organics Rosemary range of products are generally wonderful. The shampoo, masque, rosemary hair oil are all reasonably priced per quantity and quality. I ordered the Rosemary “Edge Gel” which only comes in a 2oz size and costs $6.99. It arrived without tamper proof protection and appeared to be around 5/8ths full which caused me to wonder whether someone else had sampled it along the way. An 8oz tube of conventional hair gel costs around the same. The product works fine – but miserly in quantity and therefore too expensive. I would suggest that Mielle Organics at least double the quantity for that price. I am also puzzled why they market their product as “By women for women”. That cuts out a good portion of the population. There is nothing overtly feminine about the herb Rosemary – which has been in popular use as a medicine, topical application, cleanser and culinary herb for centuries.

Came opened. First off, as if the jar isn’t tiny enough; mine came open and missing product!Edit: after my review the seller reached out to me and is sending me a new jar. I still kept 1 start off for the size of the jar.

Love it. I’m really enjoying this product it’s light weight it smells really nice it’s not sticky at all. I love the Wa it feels on my scalp and hair.

Small jar jar but really works. Hi Ladies, I love this product it’s so good I have natural hair and I have the locs so finding a good edge control is a mission in itself I found this product it’s so good there’s no flakiness it doesn’t turn white it does hold well it smells good it’s a really great product ..only downfall is that the jar is so small it comes in a small tiny size and it is a bit expensive for the size but because I have been on a search for an edge cream that works I have been paying the price for this and will continue to do so because the product is really good I just buy them in bulk maybe like 4 of them at a time!

Great brand ; could be better with sizing. This little ole jar is a slap in the face for the price! The brand name is always good but the sizing is definitely not worth it

A little goes a long way. And it has a nice scent. The bottle is small but if you’re only using a tiny bit it will last forever. I have resistant curly grey hairs, this product does the job to keep them behind my ears.

Mini product. This is an absolute mini product size so adapt your expectations. Upon opening mine wasn’t filled to the tippy top. Which left me feeling slighted. I have no doubt that this product will work well. It’s just that it’s carry on sized. So be mindful.

Smells like medicine. The hold is ok and it doesn’t turn white or flake. But the scent is not very pleasing.
