Inexpensive, sturdy shoe for beginners. Good sound. I debated about size due to reviews. I’m normally a 6.5 or 7, and I ordered the 7. I tie the laces about as tight as they go (my feet are regular-to-narrow), and there’s still a little wiggle room around the ankle opening, but not much extra length or room in the tow box. They started to blister the back of my heels when I tried them barefoot, so I wear thin socks (haven’t tried with tights.) The sound of the taps is good. They’ve held up to my very beginner, low-impact dancing for about a month and seem sturdy/well-made. I find the laces loosen themselves while wearing, so I have to re-tie/tighten them every 20 min or so. I decided to take beginner lessons on a whim at age 46, so I didn’t want to invest a lot of $. These have worked out just fine at a great price.
Wide feet. My feet our wide and these fit perfectly. After pregnancy I went up a half, sometimes whole size. I ordered that whole size up and I’m very happy with the fit. No clue how long they will last and I read some reviews that the taps fall off and I have no comment on that. Just wanted to share that these fit a wide foot.
Fit’s small by half size. I chose the largest they had. Size 10.It’s still too tight……I’m sure that a 10.5 would feel better at the front.I normally wear a 9.5.
My First Adult Tap shoes. Size fits me great and for an adult, it is great. I have not had tap class since kindergarten and now I’m 48 years. Great beginner tap shoes, recommended for mid to wide feet.
Great value for the money. I didn’t want to invest in $80 capezio shoes for my begining tap dancer (who is growing quickly). These fit the same, the capezios run a little small as well. Will definitely be buying again as she grows.
