What an ingenius product. This is such an awesome idea for palo santos burners! The product turned out pretty awesome too but you gotta make sure you burn it correctly to get the most out of the experience. In addition to the shown instruction of burning each stick at a 45 degrees angle downward to let the flame burn a good portion of the stick at the same time, I’d recommend rotating it in the process like a rotisserie. This is important because you want as much of the stick to get to the ember (glowing red) at the same time as to not having to relight. Hope that makes sense. Also, there are about 15+ sticks in there which is definitely worth the try. =)
A great way to try Palo Santo. Smells like a minty fireplace, in a good way. Not in a dirty sooty way. A but like minty sage.Also, the sticks are thin, compared to the usual way they come. I use mine in a closed window bedroom.In a high heat ceramic teapot filled wirh salt, for safety. Never blow on anything burning as it can blow small hot embers and start a fire(that’s why they make candle snuffers). With that said, you have to blow the fire out to get the glowing ember wood, so please blow lightly and in a safe direction for example not towards behind your dresser or drapes.You will need to relight them several times so I recommend a butane torch.Just as a sidenote, if you have a safe setup, you can burn them on a small charcoal square. I wouldn’t use a full size charcoal puck though as these are small pieces of Palo Santo.It’s not the flame burn that you want, it’s the hot glowing wood that gives off the most fragrant smoke.Good luck on your sensory and spiritual journeys. I don’t know how much I invest in the latter but I do very much enjoy the smell, the way it makes my room smell after and it calms me down quite a bit.(This review was written by the person I gifted these to, in the spirit of transparency.)All the best from San Diego.
pleasantly surprised. purchased these as a little novelty item alongside my other incense karma but I was surprised to find i honestly love these. they smell amazing. unfortunately with it being Palo Santo it can be difficult to get the whole thing to burn on one light, meaning you will probably still need a lighter, hurting the gimmick of it being its own fire source a little. it also seems to be a bit pricey for the amount you get, and it might be more cost-effective to just get normal Palo Santo sticks.overall though I do enjoy these matches. it would be nice to pick up a box every once in awhile, but if you find yourself going through them very quickly, it would most likely be cheaper to get them in another form. well I haven’t used them for such yet I can see the appeal and convenience for their use when traveling.
Love these Palo Santo matches. I bought these several years ago and have been waiting for them to come back in stock. They are by far my favorite Palo Santo product.
Amazing. I love these! They’re much sturdier than other scented matches. The strike pad is very solid. They don’t stay lit until completion but they are still lovely to use. They smell great, don’t snap in half, and they last longer than lighting a normal sized stick of Palo Santo.
Love this size. Love the little match stick idea! Perfect size and so great for gift giving. Saw reviews saying it won’t stay lit. After you blow out the flame it solders and releases the beautiful scent. Sometimes you need to relight it, that’s what you do with Palo Santo wood. It’s not a stick of powdered incense. The scent lingers long after too. Mostly I love the size because with bigger pieces of Palo Santo I always end up cutting it down to smaller pieces.
Sticks. These smell amazing, they don’t burn very consistent but I like them.
Mystic Matches. These little Palo Santo matches are exactly what I was looking for. They are the perfect size for my traveling altar box instead of a full size cleansing stick. They take up way less space, and leave enough room for my crystals, my salts and the few tokens I like to travel with. They do their job perfectly, letting off enough smoke to feel they are working and not being worried about being charged for smoke damage at wherever I’m staying when I don’t actually smoke at all. So happy with this purchase.
Wonderful smell. These smell divine. They’re very hearty matches. They catch fire pretty fast and the flame burns high if not blown out. so be careful not to leave unattended or underestimate the dangers. I use these to light my beeswax candles. I do love these matches. Quite unique and they bring something special to my meditations.

Okay. These are pretty small about 2-3 inches long. They smell pretty and light fine but staying lit is the issue I have. I’ve had better luck with others. I love the packaging but it’s inconvenient to use something that goes out so fast.
Love these. What a genius way to have just that ‘bit of enough’ palo santo! The little box fits into a purse or bag perfectly, making it super easy to take anywhere! The sticks light well, just like a match, but you will need a lighter to relight it again. These are wonderful & I love em!

Love em. The scent is on point, the matches don’t stay lit but that just saves them a little. It’s not really a match, just the tip the rest is wood as it should be. Will definitely buy again!
