subtle but makes a useful difference to my brows. not going back to glossier boy brow. the texture is superior, it’s easier to work with, and the price is obviously better. it’s not as wet or gunky as boy brow. color is neutral, not warm. this type of product is useful if your eyebrows are light or if the roots of your eyebrows are pale.has some hold on the brows, but i took one star off because it doesn’t hold up the front hairs as well as the got2b gel. if it did, it would be a perfect product. i recommend pressing on the hairs with your finger for a minute after applying to set them place, but you’re not going to get a lamination effect or anything. for me it only holds the hairs upright for an hour or so.i appreciate that the spoolie tip is so small – i really don’t understand similar products that have a giant tip. the smaller the better for brows. i think this is about the same size as the glossier tip.you can also take some of the product on a liner brush or angled brush to fill in sparse areas or draw hairs, which i didn’t do in my pictures. wouldn’t recommend using the spoolie tip to try to fill in sparse areas unless you’re some kind of expert.i got the shade neutral brown.
This stuff is awesome. I got this because I lost my eyebrows during radiation and they came back Grey. Lol I didn’t even realize they had come back, that is how non existent they looked. When I did realize, I ordered this product. It has little fibers in it that also increases volume. I have also occasionally used it on my head for thinner areas that were also caused by radiation. I love this product and will definitely be purchasing again.
Pleasantly surprised. I wasn’t expecting much from this brand, seemed to me like a drugstore brand for pre-teens, but I got tired of spending $25-30 on high end brands that get gloopy in just a few weeks use so I gave Elf brow gel a try. Wow! Was I pleasantly surprised! This stuff goes on smoothly, coats each hair for definition then stays in place until I wash it off. For the price it’s an amazing match with my coloring. If you are on the fence, buy it!!!
So. How many products have I gone through before trying this? Too many to count! This is just perfect for me. It enhances my brows yet looks so natural. I had no learning curve, just applied it & was good to go. I use so many other e.l.f. products so I’m not sure how I overlooked this one. Plus, you can’t beat the price!
Really Decent. Love how you can’t use the tip after you ( I just get product off tip of tune back in tube) then use it when want a precise tip, and you can use the side to brush, if you just take a little time this is really nice for people with sparse eyebrows that need a little help to fill it in.
Finally, an eyebrow darkening product worth buying. As I age my hair – and eyebrows – grow lighter in color, though not gray so I need a product to make it look like I still have eyebrows. But I don’t want my eyebrows to look painted on, and not too heavy or too dark. This was the only product I saw that doesn’t force me into a Brownish-Black color. Its dark brown shade is just right, and the small applicator is much easier to control than the big ones made for eyelashes. And it really does seem to resist smudging, which has been a big concern with the mascaras I’ve been using. Finally! Will purchase again, and soon so I have one for my suitcase kit as well as for every day use.
It’s ok for the price and amount. I bought this after watching a video of a makeup artist on YouTube. It works nicely to apply color and more depth to your eyebrows but if you think you can trade your benefit eye wow for this and have the same effect you’re wrong. It’s not tacky so it won’t hold. It does deposit some color and I like that it’s not too strong. I like it as an add-on to my other eyebrow products but I would not be able to use it alone since my eyebrows would just look flat. I don’t think I will purchase again since it didn’t do much but it was nice to mix up my products and at $5 it’s not breaking the bank. For a subtle look this would be great for you. If you are expecting this to give you everything and then some then you’ll be disappointed.
It helps alot more than I thought it would. I took a pictre with one eyebrow done and one untouched. This was with just one coat. I can make them much darker. 5 bucks!! It dosent smear and its super simple to use. I dont like pencil on my eyerows so i looked for something better and affordable. This stuff is great!
Looks very natural. I love this – just enough for thinning brows without looking like I’m wearing brow make-up. Very natural. Easy to use and seems to last a long time. I’m still going on my first tube.
Love it. My brows are gray, so I put on pencil. It doesn’t last more than a day. But when I put on the elf brow gel, before and after the pencil, the color stayed on two days. I love this product!
Works great for thinning or white eye eyebrows. After going gray early and then quickly from gray to white… I noticed my eyebrows also packed their bags and left town… followed by the ovaries and periods 😊 anyhoo, what little remained of my eyebrows was now white or light gray.Fast forward 10 years… Recently I started coloring my hair as I got tired of the white and needed a change. This led to me coloring my eyebrows, which I didn’t like. So I tried this elf eyebrow gel, and I love it because you can do a little or a lot and it looks natural.There are small fibers built into the gel and when applied to whatever eyebrow you have left, the hair strands become thicker and the color comes out nice… and boom… You have eyebrows again.If you apply too much, try brushing out a little bit after the gel dries… or if eyebrows have set in the wrong direction.Note: I tried “filling in” with this while applying to hair strands and couldn’t get it right… maybe you can. But I will say the gel didn’t and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin.There is a learning curve (I’m still learning) but don’t give up.Remember, eyebrows are sisters, not twins. I think the color I purchased is neutral brown, and it’s kind of magical.
Long lasting brow gel to add color and bulk. I’m a huge fan of this E.L.F. brow gel. I’m a natural blonde so my eyebrows are often hard to see without using a brow product. I much prefer this eyebrow gel over a brow pencil because it does more than color my eyebrows. It bulks them up a bit which a pencil can’t do. This brow gel has good staying power. I don’t have to worry about it smearing or smudging throughout the day/ night. It’s now part of my makeup routine, even on those days that I don’t go all in for the glam look. I’m very happy with my purchase, and I’ll be buying more of it as my eyebrows are losing bulk as I age. (Between getting older and having an under-active thyroid, my eyebrows seem to be disappearing more each day.) My eyebrows need all of the help they can get; and this brow gel does the trick.
Gives me natural looking eyebrows. Ok so I have NO eyebrows, like barely none. I had them waxed yrs ago and they butchered em… they NVR grew back! So all these years I’ve been penciling in something just to give me some more. Pain in the rear. Then comes THIS product, omg lifesaver! I just swipe this over my brows a few times and dab on a lil more here n there to fill in, let it dry and viola! 5 second eyebrows. LOVE IT!! I spray a setting spray over them and they stay all day, NO smudging at all. I keep them thin bc I want them to look very natural, not huge fake n weird. I use the dark brown and neutral brown. They’re very similar. Def recommend. Price on point, only $5! Some reviewers say their tunes were dry or empty… I’ve ordered 3 tubes of this now and each time they’re totally fine. May not last forever but it’s only $5, so if I get a couple/few months out of it, I’m good with that! Think of it that way…. and enjoy!!
Natural looking brows. I love how natural this product looks! Color match is accurate if you’re looking for very natural looking brows. My eyebrows are very fine and sparse and this product does a much better job filling in the gaps than say a pencil. I have used other products and I would say this one is comparable. It’s not a fiborous as some of the other eyebrow products I have used but overall, I am happy with purchase! Good value and would buy again
my favorite eyebrow product ever. i use this even on my no makeup days. it has just enough of a tint to make your eyebrows stand out and look thicker. its not sticky. the brush brushes through your eyebrows well to evenly distribute product. ill always use this and you cant beat the price!
