A complete kit for Sous Vide cooking. I bought this mostly for sous vide cooking. I tested it using my own thermometer, and it keeps the temperature very accurately (+/- 1 degree) with the lid on. Instead of separate units for the heating unit, Sous Vide plastic container and lid, and insulator, this one unit replaces all that, and at a fraction of the cost! Only 2 downside: a) it is not as powerful as handheld Sous Vide units, so you have to pre-heat your water, b) it is a large slow cooker, so it can be heavy. But I love it because it is also a good size slow cooker!

Substantial Life Changing. Love it. I come home to a home cooked meal after work. Hot and delicious. My children love it too. They come in from their daily activities, wait for the timer to let off while they do a little work and bathe for the night and dinners ready as I walk through the door. Tables set, dinners ready, children’s appetites are prepped and there are no left overs. We load the dishwasher, prep the protein for tomorrow’s meal (marinate), clean the kitchen, brush our teeth s and head off to bed. This thing is seriously changing my life. It’s like having a personal cook that never burns the food. To think I used to make red beans and rice every Monday for dinner (New Orleans tradition) and would stress about whether or not my beans would burn, would my children accidentally knock over the pot, will they spoil from being on a low heat and in the danger zone for too long. There was so much anxiety attached to having wholesome meals and being a working mom before this lovely little Black and decker arrived in my life. My husband would have to come home and microwave his meals after work. Poor guy, working 12 hours and having to eat rubbery, microwaved steak. Not anymore. Now he comes home to the same hot meal as kids and I.Also, I’ve learned: Putting frozen food in a ceramic pot then heating quickly will result in a cracked pot, from past experiences. Please thaw all meat before putting into the pot and yours will not crack either.
Awesome Crock Pot. This is a very nice crock Pot it is very large, this can definitely be plenty big for a large family, It is bigger than I thought it would been smaller but I am very pleased. This is a great buy definitely would recommendthis to everyone
Like the functions but needs improvement. ConsIt only stays on warm for a certain amount of time before it shuts off completely.The rubber seal around the lid will let in a lot of food/moisture and is hard to clean well without removing it.If you set the time wrong on the crockpot it won’t let you change it easilyThe temperature probe cooking function does not work well and allows food to get much hotter than the temperature you set it on. My roast overcooked.ProsThe sous vide function is nice and works greatThe crock cleans easily and liners fit in it wellI like the place the lid can be set on the handle although it will drip condensation on your counterIt’s nice looking and I don’t mind leaving it out on the counter

This product has been perfect as a crockpot.Pros:More powerful than some and many of my recipes on low, so adjust your times accordingly.Temperature control works great on roast or when we are trying not to overcook any meats or even squash. There is one primary spot for the gage, but several other spots you can use so you can get the correct placement.Sous vide is a nice feature, although the water does not swirl (obviously).Locking lid with rubber seal is very nice, especially for travel.Cons:No delay timer. When I plan on having food ready after work, I am forced to lower the cook time down even more since it is likely going to sit on warm for a while.No medium heat. I feel the lack of a medium setting on the crockpot portion led them to make the low a bit too high in temperature.Overall a great piece of kitchen equipment, and for this price point, you really can’t go wrong.

Easy to Use, Works Great on Induction. The title says it all. We saw several reviews that said some other brands did not live up to their “induction-friendly” claims, but this unit works perfectly on our Bosch induction stovetop. The corn pops nearly completely and never burns. You will maybe have to experiment to find the perfect heat settings, but right out of the box (after a per-instructions wash) ours made perfect popcorn.

Slo Cooker. I love this cooker! I’m looking forward to using the Sous Vide feature but all the other aspects of the cooker are great, easy to use and effective. I especially appreciate the sealing feature. Previously I had tried to use the cooker with the iron pot, it was/is so heavy and so slow I really don’t like using it.
Cooks consistently. Use this every week to make soups, stews, chilis, pulled pork, and roasts. Does a great job. I couldn’t work full time and serve homemade meals to my family without this. Love the large size. It’s easy to clean because you can pull the ceramic crock out and put it right in the sink. It’s sturdy..can go from the fridge to the heating element and back again with no problem.
Great crockpot. I searched for a new crockpot when I needed to travel with mine that didn’t have a locking lid. I looked at many different ones before settling on this one. Features such as locking lid, timer, automatically goes to warming mode, lid holder all made this one the most appealing. Another feature is the temperature probe that plugs in & sticks through the lid to cook food to temperature. Only downside to this item is that the probe isn’t very long. My first time trying to use it today & it doesn’t go far enough to reach my chicken breasts. I did slice them thinner but was surprises that I couldn’t even touch them. I still love this crockpot & am sure I will be able to use the probe another time. I would recommend this crockpot to anyone.
