Easy to apply. Wish the mascara made the lashes look a little more full. It does give a natural look but just not full enough.
pretty color. I love the color of this mascara. It’s not a neon purple, but a more subdued royal purple on your lashes. Most people don’t notice it until the light hits it just right. Then they always ask if I have on purple mascara and want to know where I got it! It can though, be brighter on my bottom lashes for some reason and can also make the base of lashes have a pinkish purple tint, at least it does mine, but I put my eyeliner on before the mascara then go back over with a very light touch of the eyeliner and everything blends in and looks really nice. If you don’t care for the black or brown but don’t want the neon look, then I think you’ll like this.

Great for thin lashes, I always come back. I’ve been using this mascara for 4+ years, and no matter what other products I try (around this price range) I always come back to this one. Other mascaras always clump, or are too wet, and most have wands that either provide poor distribution, or will completely flatten and not mold back when you blot them. This mascara is the only one I’ve found that doesn’t do that. I abuse the crap out of it when I use it, too. I scrape the excess mascara off the wand back into the top of the tube, then I blot/wipe more excess and reshape the wand with a tissue, apply, and repeat as needed. The wand always reshapes, and covers and separates my lashes. I have blonde, long, thin, lashes, and the way this separates makes them look fuller-especially compared to other mascaras. I’ll continue to try other products only if they’re a cheaper price with rave reviews. Otherwise, this remains a consistent win with me.
Lovely Lash Application plus specks. I really like this item and the pretty gold container. It is comfortable to hold while using the mascara. It is the best mascara I have used.Unfortunately, the gold on the container flakes off and often shows up on my face in tiny specks that show up out in public and are hard to get off.Despite that I will buy this again and find some way to avoid the gold specks.
This has to be the best mascara ever. I’ve been using this mascara for more than a decade. I try other mascaras but always come back to this one. The price is right and the product is perfect. I just bought an Estēe Lauder mascara, pricy too. It didnt wear as well as this one. I sleep with mascara on and this is the best one for that. Doesn’t smear, ever!
Been using for over 8 years. This is the only mascara I use. I’ve tried other big brands just to explore but I always revert back to this! My lashes are fairly short and thin and this makes me look like I’m wearing natural-looking fake lashes. The brush is perfect because it stretches the natural lash while coating the semi-thick mascara beautifully
Harder to see the blue in regular light. Loved the blue mascara for Halloween. The kids at work really loved it, lol! It showed up great with my makeup light on. A little less so in regular light, but the kids still noticed so it couldn’t have been that hard to see, lol! No irritation. No smudging or flaking. Washed off easier than black mascara in the shower.
If you want to stand out buy this mascara. I love this L’Oreal Paris Makeup Voluminous Original Volume Building Mascara in Cobalt Blue. It’s easy to apply and coats well. You get volume and length with every swipe. As far as the color, I have very dark lashes and in bright light or sunlight they were a bright blue. I was as the dentist and my dental hygienist was raving about how great my lashes looked. She was especially surprised because the mascara cover my dark lashes turning them a radiant blue. If you have lighter eyelashes I’m sure your lashes would be practically glowing. Haha.I am very happy with the looks I get whilst wearing it. The mascara is quite easy to remove with either a makeup remover cloth, wash cloth or just soap and water.I’ve also used L’Oreal Paris Makeup Voluminous Original Volume Building Mascara in carbon black but I’d like to try the deep burgundy.I hope this review was helpful. Keep batting your lashes in any color.
The BEST mascara. I love this mascara and have done since the 90s. The color payoff is great except for the deep purple and the green which just look black. After a entire day of wear the bottom lash does flake a bit but it’s not terrible; I’ve considered using a primer for my bottom lashes but the flaking is so minimal I just check the bathroom mirror and go on my way. What I love is that this mascara (basically) stays all day but still comes off easily with washing. The brush is nice and the formula curls my lashes for me and it’s cheap to buy. I’ve purchased every color and, even as I age, it’s nice to wear some fun makeup that’s not blitzed with glitter or neon.
One of THE most Volumizing drugstore mascaras on the market. I have been purchasing this mascara for over 10 years. So when I tell you I have tried TONS of volumizing mascaras, I’m not kidding you when I say this one beats them all. When you open a fresh one, it is not as thick on the lashes. Give it a couple of weeks, and it dries a little in the tube, and that’s when the magic happens on your lashes! It is DARK and my curl stays after curling my lashes. If this mascara ever gets discontinues, I will cry 🙂

Like it. Wasn’t sure how the burgundy would look with my blue eyes. But I actually love it. It makes my eyes look brighter. I also do not have a problem with clumps and the brush works well.
Burgundy Mascara is where it’s at! L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara is a classic formula. I wanted to try something different than black and I’m so glad I did! I have green eyes and the Burgundy didn’t look vivid but enhanced my eyelashes as it’s not a tubing mascara from L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara line! This is such a classic mascara that is moisturizing on the lashes, adds volume, adds length, and I can add separation when shimmying the lashes from the bottom slowly in an outward motion! Such a classic formula! I have tried the black before and now I can say I have tried the Burgundy mascara which looks great with a burgundy, cranberry, maroon, plum eyeliner such as MAC or many others on the market!! This would look good on Any color of eyes and skin tones! They have green and blue and a violet shade as well as their classic black and brown! I feel this mascara is less expensive than other L’Oreal mascaras but ALWAYS performs no matter what!
Tried and true! This is a great mascara for a great price. This is good quality mascara. I do not use the water proof, but this still stays in place and does not smudge or run unless you really get it wet. I’ve used it for many years. It has never burned my eyes or skin as I have sensitive eyes and skin! It works best to start at the base of your lashes and wiggle the wand back and forth for a few strokes and then work it out toward the tip of your lashes. I am also able to build on the thickness and length with this mascara. It isn’t clumpy or a super builder for crazy long lashes, but looks natural while giving you longer lashes.
Pretty Color… But Only Noticeable When You’re Crying. I bought this mascara specifically for the Deep Burgundy color, hoping for a fun but subtle pop but honestly, it just looks black unless someone is right up in my personal space. The formula itself is great…nice volume, not too clumpy, applies smoothly….but the color payoff was a bit disappointing.However, I did finally see the burgundy… when I started crying. 🫠 Let me tell you, this is not waterproof and my toddler was thoroughly convinced I was bleeding from my eyeballs. So, if you want your mascara to stay put through emotional moments or toddler tantrums, this ain’t it.Great quality, just wish the color stood out more before the tears started rolling! 😂
A fun option. I love the fun colors that this mascara has. It does go on well and it does look like the color that shows in the picture. If you like to play around with your make up, I think it’s worth the price.
Long lasting. I’m a brunette with eyes that tend to be more on the orange side, and I love how the burgundy just makes my eyes pop. It’s easy to apply and I never notice it getting clumpy which is a big plus. The color gives just enough to see you have makeup being on without it looking fake.I love this so much, it’s on my subscribe and save.
