  1. Love it, but. We bought this for our camper because I wanted something that didn’t take up a whole lot of space, but was still faster and easier to clean than an electric water kettle and french press. Overall, I love it, but it has a couple drawbacks which may or may not be a dealbreaker to someone, so here’s my pros and cons:PROS:-Slim design lets me tuck it in the corner of the counter so I’m not sacrificing precious space in the camper.-FAST. Just as fast as brewing with a Keurig, without having to buy the pods-Easy to use. There’s only two buttons: Hot or Iced. the amount of water you put in the reservoir is how much coffee you’re going to get. I just fill up whatever cup I’m going to be drinking out of with water and use that to fill the reservoir. Also, the included scoop has easy measurements based on how many ounces you’re brewing and whether its hot or iced.-Easy to clean. Just dump out your grounds and rinse out the filter-More affordable than a Keurig, in both the machine itself and the coffee you use (no pods!)-Brews both hot and iced coffee (of course, that’s why we’re here!)CONS:-If you’re brewing back to back cups, you want to wait 10 mins or so for it to cool down some between brews. 1.)The filter is still really hot, so pulling it out to clean it right away is difficult. 2.) the heating element in the reservoir is still hot, and is now not covered by water, so when you go to pour new water in, the water steams and splashes back up and can burn you (happened to me a couple times)- I think the iced coffee function could use some tweaking. I’ve had ones made on the Keurig, and the ice keeps, and my drink stays cold for quite a while. With this one, I feel like my ice melts too quickly and I’m left with a watered down coffee, even in my Yeti cup. Both this and the Keurig start out brewing the coffee hot, and then switch to cold as to not melt the ice. I think the timing/temperature ratio is off on this one and it goes too hot for too long. There could be other factors in play here that have nothing to do with the machine, but based on what I’ve compared, they just come out different.Overall, I really like this coffee maker, and if I ever need to replace it down the road, I will probably buy it again. I think it’s a great alternative to the Keurig, both in cost and waste since it’s not using pods. We use it mostly for hot coffee, so the drawbacks in the iced coffee function aren’t a huge deal for us.

  3. Coffee maker is great! The tumbler sucks though. Let’s start with the negative because it isn’t ALL that bad. Really, my grievances are with the tumbler provided. For starters, it is not dishwasher safe so that is automatically an issue for me. With three people in the house doing dishes, I am forced to wash it immediately for fear that someone else is going to put the cup in the dishwasher. It also leaks really badly. The seal on the lid is terrible. You can’t tilt the cup at all unless you want a shift full of coffee.Onto the good. This is the best 30 coffee maker I have ever bought! It is simple to use. It brews quickly and everything is really easy to clean. I like how small it is because it doesn’t take up a lot of space on the counter. That means I can have both my full-pot coffee maker out for the weekends one when I want to lounge with a pot and this one out at the same time! It just tucks into the corner. The brews are the same strength whether they brew hot or cold. I personally feel the scoop suggestions are too big but that probably depends on the coffee you are using. I use the smaller scoop for my coffee because I use a really dark french roast. That seems to work perfectly for me. I would suggest you try the big scoop as instructions call for the first time, but experiment with your coffee. The big scoop is about what I use to brew a whole pot in my other maker. Pro tip number 2! Prep your coffee ahead. Load the water, load the beans, then put your tumbler (a better one that is dishwasher safe) in the freezer with ice and a little honey syrup. Then all you have to do in the morning is hit brew!

  7. Really really great coffee. The most important thing a coffee maker needs to do is brew great coffee. This machine is shockingly good in that regard! Took it out of the box, washed it up, and ran a couple cycles of water through it to flush it out. Ground some French roast at a medium-fine setting (25 on my Rancilio Rocky) put two scoops of coffee in, filled the water reservoir, and two minutes later I was enjoying a really great cup of coffee. I usually drink Aeropress, occasionally Chemex or V60 pour over. The coffee from this machine is roughly comparable to those in quality – different of course, but not markedly worse. It’s certainly far better coffee than my full-size Cuisenart drip coffee maker can produce.Only two criticisms really. I ordered a black unit and I received a blue coffee maker with a faux marble base. Since it’s going to the office that’s not such a big deal, but if I was buying it for my kitchen I’d return it for a replacement. Also, it would be nice if there was a stand to hold shorter mugs a few inches higher and avoid splashing. This coffee maker is really designed for tall mugs or tumblers.Ergonomics and thoughtful design touches: Scoop holder in the side of the unit is very convenient. Water reservoir capacity markings make it easy to fill straight from the Brita once you know much your mug holds. The lid folds well out of the way making it easy to fill with coffee and water. Everything is super easy to clean.Coffee brewing: Fast! Heats quickly and gets straight to brewing. Depending on grind, the brew cycle will take 2-3 minutes which is just about optimal. The water temperature is just under boiling and is spot on for making a well-extracted cup of coffee. The reusable filter is great and replacements are readily available. If you want to ditch the pods and easily brew single servings of great drip coffee this is the way.

LOVE this coffee maker. I drink both hot and cold. I live in Texas so our summers can be brutal. All I drink for 5/6 months is iced coffee then in the winter I drink hot. I used to rotate 2 coffee makers out, one for ice and one for hot. Not anymore, this coffee maker is slim and can fit anywhere. I do not use the tumbler that comes with it. I bought several others here on Amazon that fit perfectly. More insulated and keeps my coffee cold so the ice does not melt. Nothing worse than watered-down iced coffee. All I have ever owned is Mr. Coffee because they last at least they have for me. I refuse to pay over 100.00 for a coffee maker because of a “NAME” only. Coffee is coffee all you do is brew it. It comes with a measuring scooper that is right on the side which is a really nice feature. All in all, I think Mr. Coffee did excellent with this very happy with my purchase.

Buen producto , es rápido y práctico , para una taza de café caliente , aún no pruebo hacer café frío ! En mi caso no traía popote!

  12. New Favorite. I am a sucker for iced coffee, so this caught my eye. While the coffee isn’t technically cold as it comes out of the machine it’s cold by the time you pick it up at drink it. As long as you put the correct amount of ice in you’ll get what you want. TIP: add extra ice if you’re an ice lover, because the coffee will melt it slightly as it brews. If you’re not an ice lover add just a little less that the ice line suggests. The hot coffee is great too! It is really hot which I love. This is so easy to use I’m pretty sure a child could figure out

  13. My Second One. I purchased the original iced coffee maker and it didn’t have the hot coffee option. This one broke so I purchased the newer two in one version. What I love about it is it’s convenience. Of course I love the fact that the iced coffee comes out great. You’re able to make precise measurements to your liking. The coffee scooper has a holder right in the machine. It also has a drip catcher that that the other one doesn’t. You’re also able to fit most travel tumblers to have coffee drip right into. Amazon still sells the original machine but the two in one is only about $3 more. I love it so much I purchased three more to give as gifts.

  14. Wow. The media could not be loaded. I am by no means a coffee snob, I will eat grounds, but I don’t drink a lot per day. My old pot was just another thing that had to get washed and serviced regularly. I am a single mom living in an 800 sqft house, I don’t have the space or sanity to struggle with my morning routine. I had been on the fence about getting a double machine with a pot and single serve, but also looked at some pricier single serve. I knew pods weren’t an option for me. I did this search for almost a year because 1. I’m scared of commitment 2. I don’t trust reviews anymore 3. I’m a single mom and 100 other things will get bought before I buy for myself.Setting up: easy peasy lemon squeezy, but no need to even get lemon juice on your hands. Run an empty cycle and off you go! Literally. No clock to setup, no pre-order options or jenga puzzle to solve. I did two cycles, one with vinegar then one with just water. Less than 10 minutes and we were ready to rock. For best results, use hot water when filling. I did notice my first cup got into the cup well under the recommended brew temperature. Using hot water in the machine got my coffee up to 186F. Also, everyone knows what happens when you try to pour water from a coffee mug. I suggest using a regular cup or a measuring cup to do the water because it Will spill then you have to guess how much extra water to add or not add. Annoying and who wants to wipe up water? Also of note: there is no step-up to bring a coffee mug closer to the spout. It definitely splashes! Easy to see on the wall of my white dishwasher. I put a stack of coasters on my platform, not perfect but much less splatter. Coffee is tasty and consistent with minor ground residue similar to using a French press. I don’t mind that but you might. The iced feature. I’m not going to lie, I was skeptical. Today was the day and I gave it a go. I don’t remember where I put the book so I just went with the flow. The tumbler cup has a water line and an ice line. Filled to water line and dumped it into the machine, then filled cup with ice (approx one 14 cube tray). I don’t usually use the included scoop just due to is being installed on the side I have blocked by dishwasher but it has a hot and iced side for measurements. Cup said “1 – 2” scoops, I did 1.5. The included video was sped up but the original video from start to finish was 2m and 40s. The taste? Wow. I’m impressed. As I said, I’m definitely not a snob about my joe but I just might have to add barista to my resume. I probably would prefer just one scoop of grounds next time but this was a pleasant surprise. As I write, 30min later, there is still a portion of ice in the cup. It is cold, smooth. I wish the cup was machine washable.Overall, for my lifestyle this machine is a total win. At first I was worried about when I have guests but it’s never more than one or two grown-ups and 2 minutes for a cup of coffee is an acceptable wait time in my opinion. I have also used the machine to make tea, that has worked fine too. I can’t speak to longevity but should it change, I will update to reflect that. If you are of basic, practical, minimalistic living, this is a great option.

    Love this machine

  16. Easy to use single cup coffee maker. As the title says, this machine is easy to use and allows me to quickly brew a single cup of hot coffee in less than 5 minutes (including putting water into the reservoir and coffee grounds in the filter). Taste has been consistent and I am testing different coffee types and quantities. While I mainly use it to brew a cup of hot coffee, I tried the over-ice method too. Again, just follow the instructions. Cold brew came out OK. Overall, great machine, does not take a lot of space and I bought for this reason too.

  18. I love my iced coffee maker. I have had great experiences with all of my Mr. Coffee products. This is Iced Coffee Maker no exception. At the time, I was the only one in the house that drank iced coffee. My husband emphatically stated that he was not a fan. After he saw how easy it was to make using this coffee maker, and then he got a glass to enjoy, he was hooked. Lol! It’s easy to clean, easy to use, and there’s no extraneous fuss. You just measure your coffee, fill the reservoir with water, fill your glass with ice and press one button. You can also make a regular single cup of hot coffee if you choose. The coffee is tasty and not bitter. It also helps to use a good quality coffee. Using better coffee grounds results in better tasting coffee. I brewed a single cup of hot brew and I noticed that, because the coffee maker is tall (to accommodate the tall glass that is included), coffee splatter can occur with lower profile cups and glasses. I use upside ramekins to raise my mug so there’s less mess. I paid around $60 for this coffee maker and I haven’t purchased any coffee at a coffeehouse since. Here’s another Mr. Coffee product that I happily give five stars.

Great product, simple to use, makes great quality coffee. Worth the buy, and no plastic k cup flavour.

  20. Originally I purchased this to make iced drinks but instead I have been using it to make hot drinks. I use it for making coffee, tea and hot lemon water. This machine is perfect! The brew time is very quick, it’s easy to use and it’s quiet. I would be lost without this machine.
