The Only one that works for my family. This brand and type “multi” is the only one that works for my family, the store-brand knockoffs nope!Issues for the product and its use are…1. I have to buy them on Amazon, because of all the thieving drug-addicts’ in my town, now living with some sort of fixation with this product, for whatever zombie-reason. Making this item to be ALWAYS out of stock, and in all the local stores. I’m tired of going all over town and too search every store to find that, this IBS essential use “Multi” item missing (every time).2. You have to use a Katana to open the damn tablet blister packs, because of the old-people-proofing they’ve added to the product. I pre-cut them now (I feel so weak when I manually try to break them open by hand), so when I need too use a dose, I don’t have to fight the blister packs when I’m traveling outside the house.3. That my family and I cannot live a normal life without using this product for IBS control.* I don’t know if my “review” will help anyone make a choice to buy the product or not, I’m just sayin’ what works for me, and ranting a little, on the reason I HAVE to now buy this on Amazon!
Here is the secret to opening the pills, how to open them much easier…. The product works great. I like this multi symptom caplet version as well as the single ingredient gel cap version. This one does have the simethicone for gas and bloating symptoms. These can easily be broken in half, and if anything, they are easier to swallow after being broken, as the caplets are a bit larger. While they do start to dissolve in the mouth before swallowing, they also do have a pleasant taste, and a little sweetness. I am writing this review, primarily because, as many reviewer have pointed out, it is difficult to open the packaging to get to the pills. Specifically, each pill is packaged individually, in a way that is hard to open, as it says to tear at the notch, but that notch does not reach all the way to the edge of the plastic material, so you would need to tear through the plastic, which is quite difficult. Some similar packages what have you been to the material so the notch is that at the edge, but this packaging does not work that way. My method makes it quite easy to open them though. As soon as I open the box, I pull out all of the sheets of pills, meaning each sheet of six pills, I fold each sheet in half the long way, and then I use a scissors to make a small cut to extend the notch to the edge of the packaging. Then it is then quite easy to tear each pill open when needed. I have attached a couple photos in an attempt to show you what I mean. Just extending that notch with a scissors makes it very easy to tear each one open when needed. I am just careful not to cut all the way into the pill area, so that the pills still stay fresh. This has been super helpful for me. I hope this is helpful for you.

Sick stomach. Workers well for the numerous sick stomachs I get, down side hard to swallow. They should be coated with something that would make them easier to swallow, since they are not drink water 1st then take the caplet with alot of WATER!
They work on the very first dose. The effectiveness is awesome. They are easy to swallow. Great value. The packaging is very durable I had to cut the package with scissors I always have them available.
Works as intended. My husband has some gut health issues, so when we go on a family trip..let just say we heavily rely on these to get us where we need to go. They’re very effective, there’s a lot for the price you pay / competitive to other places / great value. They get the job done, but in a safe way. We aren’t a fan of medication, but this has been a lifesaver so we can continue to have family activities without the concern of restroom access.

Work As Intended. These little wonders do what they are intended to do. For those of us over 70 (60? 50?), and have a need for control, these seem to be the best option. Those friends my age recommended these and they work well.
My Greatest friend. I don’t know what I would do without Imbodium, it sure makes my life easier. By its effectiveness But many times I wish and hope this could be manufactured with an easier way to be “user friendlier”- the pill is a wonderful size, and really helps one in need, but requires a sharp scissor, when there’s soo little time to play games..it can be expensive if one needs the Original Brand, the store brand is a little less expensive, but neither lasts too long for the constant user.
Imodium gives me my life back. Sometimes we all need to stop the floodgates. Sometimes 1 is enough, and sometimes up to 8 per my doctor’s orders. Thankfully I’ve never exceeded 6. I’m glad imodium exists and appreciate the antigas, anticramping ingredients too. It’s a lifesaver – literally.
