  1. Wrong part but works great. Was the wrong part. Was an emergency as the oven broke right before thanksgiving so I rewired it using the new sensor and cutting out the quick connect. Works with some modification. Wish the wiring inside was thicker so it didn’t break so easy when trying to rewire. But works within the same temperature range as my oven even though the connector wasn’t anywhere near the same. I used it on a Kenmore 78048783901 electric wall oven.

  2. Not An Exact Replacement But – 😕. Our Kenmore oven was not baking cakes and pies right. It was taking quite a bit more time than my wife was used to and the recipes called for. So I resorted to the old oven thermometer test. Now I know from my experience that all ovens vary somewhat, however our oven was off and the temp varied. As there are only 3 things in the circuit; the oven element, the temp sensor probe and the control board, I checked what I could with a meter. The element was good and actually the temp sensor probe checked out okay. However the temp sensor probe is nothing more than a thermistor (a variable resistor that changes based on the temperature) and there is really no way to tell if it is changing resistance correctly. To test one, you merely Ohm it out at room temp (70 degrees) and it should read anywhere from 1K – 1.1K Ohms. I went with the cheapest part to try first. This Supplying Demand 316233903 Interior Oven Sensor Probe was NOT an exact replacement part in that the molex plug and terminals were different from the plug and terminals in the original. You may need to modify the part to make it work. Keep in mind there is only a small amount of current going thru the wire to tell the control board the oven temperature. If your original sensor probe is different, you only need to connect and isolate the two wires to effectively connect the sensor probe. I cut the wire and used the high temp insulation from the original sensor probe to shield my connections. If you feel you don’t have the experience to do this, I suggest you leave it to a qualified repairman or a trusted friend. After replacement I checked the temperatures with an oven thermometer and found them to be off. I would set it for 325, then 350, then 375 then 400 and repeat. I went into the offset settings on the control board and adjusted it according to my findings. So far the repair seems to have been a success. I took off 1 Star because of the need to adapt the connection. It would be so nice if there was a pigtail included that would allow for the connection to the various OEM temperature sensors. Thanks for reading. I hope this review helps others to decide – ✌😉

  3. Connector has flat not round pins. The connector has flat blade pins instead of round pins like the one I replaced. I cut off the factory connector and used wire nuts on the very short pig tail. Perhaps I did not look close enough at the picture of the connector to verify it matched range connector. Far as I know so far, it is working OK. If the the connector had matched, I could have replaced it in a couple of minutes.

  4. Should work. I bought the wrong product but i measured it with multimeter and the omhs is correct for the room temperature.

  5. Not compatible with my stove. I ordered this because my stove’s serial number was listed as compatible, however when I received it I discovered it didn’t work. On the plus side it was brand new and the quality was excellent.

  6. Worked for 5 months but has stopped working all of a sudden. We received this and although it was a little different it installed easily. Some of the options were different (only and high and low heat options for broiler) but otherwise worked normally. Then yesterday it stopped working again, will not send a signal to ignite the burner.

  7. Works so far. easy to install and for the price it works great

So easy to replace and saved us easily $200. Thanks to teen children who found it inexplicitly necessary to HAMMER the buttons of the stove, the display failed. They had broken some tabs and the plastic overlay on the buttons was cracked. I thought i would replace the overlay and use the oem display but upon removal I found it was too damaged to do just that. I found this, and was skeptical as the oem, no overlay, was over 250, 50 extra for the overlay sticker. This seemed too good to be true. It arrived and the board looked totally different, MUCH less components. I installed it with a feeling that “No way this is going to work”. But, it worked like a charm, for less than the stupid button overlay sticker I had the stove fixed back to like new. The unit has been working for well over 6 months, and it works perfect. Save yourself some money, take a chance like I did, you won’t regret it.

  9. Works. Easy to install works good hope it lasts

  10. Working. Product install was reasonable, face plate isnt a match but its reasonable – screen clean.Timer doesnt turn off when you clear it, you have to manually turn it off
