Nice, but not the darkest sunglasses you can get. Nice sunglasses at a great price. However these are not the darkest glasses I have used. Other reviewers are happy with their purchase and so am I. But, I’d like to explain sunglass ratings and how they pertain to this product.Sunglasses are rated in 5 varying classes or category.Cat 00 – allows 80% to 0 of sunlight through and are recommended for indoor use or very dimmed locations.Cat 01 – allows 43% to 80% of sunlight through and are recommended for low sun exposure or very cloudy days.Cat 02 – allows 18% to 43% of sunlight through and are recommended for medium sun exposure.Cat 03 – allow 8% to 18% of sunlight through and are recommended for strong brightness.Cat 04 – allows 3% to 8% of sunlight through and are recommended for extreme sun brightness. This category is usually used for situations where sunlight can cause eye damage or difficulty seeing. These are often used in skiing, on boats during the summer time, and mountain climbing.Cat 00 to Cat 03 are suitable for driving and everyday activities. You can usually find cheap pairs of Cat 03 on Amazon or eBay. This pair of sunglasses is in the Cat 03 section of the spectrum.You can take your sunglasses to eye exam locations and they will tell you if the effectively block 100% of UV light and what category the glasses fall under. Some makers (like LOCS) include this information on the glass frame (on the inside).If you truly want super extreme dark sunglasses, specifically ask the seller what Cat they belong to. If you want total darkness you need Cat 04.CAT 04 ARE NOT SUGGESTED TO BE USED AS DRIVING GLASSES OR WHILE USING HEAVY MACHINERY!Cat 04 sunglasses also are on the more expensive side.With all that said…These glasses are nice. They fit my fat face fairly well and don’t pinch my temples or the bridge of my nose. The cover the peripheral areas nicely. Light doesn’t sneak in through the various sections where the glasses touch the forehead and cheeks. The quality is pretty nice for a rather inexpensive pair of glasses.
Great all around sunglasses. I’ve owned 2 pairs of these sunglasses now. They’re easily my favorite pair of the pairs I own and my first choice on a very sunny day as they are effective. They’re also very durable. It took me dropping my first pair on ceramic tile for the millionth time before they broke. I love these sunglasses.
I buy a pair every other month. Love these Locs. Been wearing them since middle school. They used to last for years but they’ve only lasted me a couple of months the past few years. But hey, at the price it’s cool. (I’d pay $5 a pair from Shorty’s Hydraulics in Houston back in the day. They had these in CAT3 and CAT4 darkness, too.) I’m extremely light sensitive, to the point of being hospitalized due to light exposure. So I always have them on. The frames will break and the metal hinges will pop off so I recommend buying a couple pairs. Love my Locs, though.

Dark, Fit Snug, Solid and Robust Construction. i bought these for daily use and they are better than what I expected. They are very dark, fit very snug both on your eyes and behind your ears. No one will be able to see your eyes if that is a concern. They are extremely solid.
Your style your eyewear will go with anything. Personal wear every day wear around the city cool looks stylish. Love it.
