Price And Comfort Conscious? Buy These. For the price, these are a great value. Super comfortable. I was looking for a shoe I could wear all day. Usually, this means you need rubber soles (no wood). You can’t resole many one-piece rubber sole heels, but that’s fine. Rarely do I do that since the top of the shoe shows so much wear, it makes me want to get a new pair of shoes no matter how much shoe-shining I do.I own Saks 5th Avenue brand shoes, Cole Haan, and many other pricey shoes. Sure these Clark’s don’t look as sharp as Italian-made shoes. But Clark’s are comfortable. With this particular shoe, they struck the right balance between fashionable and functional–a rare feat indeed!My feet are normal width (D). Half my shoes are 11, the other 10.5. I got these in 10.5 and they fit fine. The toe box is only slightly snug, but I’m hoping they will stretch out in a month or so. I probably should have done 11’s. If you are in the middle like me, err on a half size larger. I had a chance to try these on at a store (hesitated to buy at first). The toe box is long and the 11 seemed kind of big, so I went down a notch. In hindsight, 11 was the right size.I couple things I could do without are the side slits that have elastic. They are minimal though. And at the end of the day, you probably don’t need to untie your shoes to kick these off, but I don’t recommend that. I was also not crazy about the inner lining. It kind of looks like pleather, to be totally honest. Either that or it’s super thin and shiny leather. They have a cheap look to them on the inside, but who cares because you don’t see them.Overall, great shoes. Way to go Clark! These ones are winners and they look great with suit pants or nice jeans.

Nice value, nice upper, weird sole. Purchased a size 7 roughly 5 years ago. Good product for the price point that has held up to 15-20 semi-formal wears since then. The upper feels great for the price – not plasticky and synthetic, or thin and papery. Toe box is a little large (or else the rest of the shoe is just small). The sole has held up fine, although I think the striped rubber detailing on the heel is kind of cheap-looking. Also wish they wouldn’t have stamped “Clarks” on the side of the shoe. Ugly.

Best dress shoes I’ve ever had. I need wide toe boxes and it was perfect. Also, most comfortable dress shoes I’ve ever worn that still looks classy. I suit up for work every day and have a torn meniscus, so feet comfort is a big must!

Surprisingly comfy. I did not think these would be all that comfortable seeing how long and pointy these are. The fit was a bit snug getting into but then I was also wearing gym socks. But even then it was able to fit and be quite comfortable. I wear a 13W so that is saying g something. I love that these are real leather which is why I chose them with proper care they will last longer then pleather. The soles appear to be quite good as well a softer rubber but not b-ball shoe soft. I will wear these for a bit and come back to update.

Comfortable and Stylish. Out of the box these shoes look great. They fit perfectly and are much more comfortable than I expected. There’s a nice cushion to the soil and they have a nice amount of traction. They’ve been great walking the streets and dancing at weddings. I am confident they will last a few years, but the jury is still out on durability.

Comfortable Elegance. I couldn’t ask for more comfortable elegant shoes. It’s made for special occasions and not for taking walks in, but as far as dress shoes go these are the best. Comfortable, quality, elegant, and most importantly: affordable. If they keep them affordable I’ll be a returning costumer.The sizing runs slightly smaller than Clarks in Europe. Size up. Amazon recommended me an 11.5, which is what I usually wear in their European collection, but 12 wide turned out to be my right size. I guess they run small, you may have to size up.

Excellent quality and great fit. Needed a new dress shoe and these are very comfortable. Not a typical tight dress shoe.

Very impressed! great buy. Very impressed but not surprised! I had a pair of Clarks Whiddon Pace that I am still wearing for the office. It is still looking good, and very comfortable but with some wear. I was impressed with this new pair; as it came packaged in perfect condition. With proper care this shoes should last a very long time. Don’t waste your money on expensive shoes; I’ve learned my lesson. Very satisfied with this purchase!

Great fit and look. Lots of orthopedic surgeries, injuries from military service. Dress shoes which do not trigger pain are tough to find. Used to be a 9 1/2, now a 12. For this shoe, reading lots of reviews, I went with 11 1/2 wide with my orthopedic inserts. Perfect fit. Excellent quality leather and construction. They look and feel great.

BEWARE of Sizing. First and foremost, these shoes look and feel well-made. My husband said they’re very comfortable (and that’s coming from a blue-collar guy who wears boots all day, every day.) Which is why I give them 4 stars. HOWEVER, this was after ordering and returning two pairs before finding a size that fit.He’s a pretty solid 10-1/2…. sneakers, dress shoes, boots, sandals, etc. I ordered a 10-1/2, and they were more than 1″ too big. I returned them and ordered a 10, which actually appeared to be pretty close to the same size as the 10-1/2. I ordered a THIRD pair as a 9-1/2 wide, and they were perfect. So the sizing is definitely off, however, they were exactly what he needed and I’m glad we stuck with it.
