Easy to use, loved by pets, wish it was softer plastic. The media could not be loaded. My kitties were in need of a different brush, and I wanted to try the easy to clean brushes. I bought 4 total, including the Amuca and Parakay brushes. This one turned out to be the most liked and enjoyed by my cats. It also picks up the most hair. The other 3 did not pick up and remove hair as good as this one.The downfalls are:1) the plastic is hard on the back of the brush, so when my kitties move their heads backward a bit trying to get brushed more, it hits their head. If probably doesn’t hurt much because they keep coming back for more, but I wish it had a little rubber or something made from a slight shock absorbent material, like the for mats I use in my kitchen. Just something to keep it from banging against their skull2) when you go to remove the hair, you really have to mash hard in the button to get it to work properly and lock into place, but you can leave the brush closed with the bristles tucked in for protection around little kids, and that’s a VERY GOOD thing3) when you remove the hair, you do have many stragglers you have to mess with because they stick to the plastic – not a big deal, but noticeableThe good bonuses:1) both kitties love the brush, including the one who has always been scared to be brushed2) really picks up hair from both the undercoat and top coat – great for coming summer shedding months3) the end of the bristles have protective balls covering them, so that wires are running against their skin and faces – if you watch my video then you will see what I mean because I certainly don’t want to scratch one of their eyes or cut them because the bristles are rough and possible dangerous like other brushes4) did I mention BOTH CATS LOVE THIS BRUSH and want to be brushed all the time – I just shake the brush and say their names and they come a running for some special treatmentMy recommendation is that you purchase this brush and at least give it a shot. If your kitties aren’t happy (and you too), I’m sure you know or can find the return policy. Purchase! Thumbs up!
met the expectations. I bought this to brush my pug. I’ve tried a few different brushes, but none would get the undercoat, the almost powdery, wispy hair that is so hard to remove. This brush catches some of it. I am still gentle when using it, the teeth look quite menacing, but my pug seems to tolerate it. I am trying to brush her a few times a week, especially in the warm weather when she shed like crazy. I don’t know if it’s the best tool out there but it’s the best I’ve ever had!

Works wonderful on my cats, both long hairs and my short hairs. I tried it on my little dog (Yorky/Dashound mix) who has 2 inch long hairs, and when I went to operate it to have it push the hairs out, at first there was a little resistance. But that is because dog hair is coarser than cat hair. Cat hair pushes out easy Peezy. I would highly recommend this brush for cats.Pay no intention to the negative reviews because one lady apparently took her brush apart and broke it. I do not see how it’s designed to be taken apart at all.This is a great brush for cats. They feel like they’re being petted. My cats all liked it and they all have different personalities.I have one cat who just has thick hair and pulling the hair out of my old brush with sharp bristles was painful to my fingers. I LOVE THIS BRUSH with soft knobs that will not irritate your cat’s skin and the hair just pushes right out when you manipulate the button.If you’re looking for a good brush for your cats, I highly recommend this brush!

I Recommend for Pomeranian Owners. I highly recommend this brush, it works perfectly for my Pomeranian with her undercoat and fur. If you have a Pom or a fur baby with an undercoat, then you know the nightmare that can entail sometimes with their undercoat. This brush in addition to another brush I use works well! I highly recommend and wish I had found this sooner.

Grat brush , does exactly what it says. Love, love this brush. My dog has always hated being brushed and with thos one he loves it and it actually works. Recommend highly!! The bristles are soft and it does pick u the hair, and the cleaning is so easy with the retractable bristles.

Great brush, own multiple for each per. This is a great grooming brush for my elderly black lab. What I like the most is how easy it is to clean and remove hairs. The bristles are not too rough which I was concerned about with my dogs age spots but we really enjoyed being groomed.One small gripe, I accidentally dropped my brush and all the springs became loose. Fortunately it is very easy to put together again. So despite it falling apart, it is very easy to reassemble.

Doesn’t hurt your pet. Works well! Press the button and wow, easy fur removal. My dog enjoys it and it’s great for single coated dogs. Perfect for dogs with double coat. Gets all that dead shedding hair. Arrived quickly and recommend seller. Don’t get the knock offs. They don’t last long.
Self cleaning. This brush has a couple great features. It has coated tips so as not to scratch my dog’s skin and the prongs retract pulling the hair off. I can easily throw it away and wipe the base with a pet wipe. It’s really easy to use and to keep clean.

Nice Tool – easy to clean. Love this tool. It gets the job done like similar tools, but when you are finished you just press the button and the bristles retract making it super simple to discard the hair.
