WHY NO RECIPES OR GUIDELINES. I had high hopes for this one but no recipe guidelines. I logged in and registered my product. Looked thru the website and see a place for recipes/cooking but it is a joke. Now I can make grilled cheese but would like guidelines on what works with this unit. I see responses from seller to questions sayings yes you can make this and yes you can make that but that don’t make it so.Looks like another bad purchase. I will try a couple of things and just return it. Why does nothing work anymore.UPDATE 8-20-23 – I tried out with a sandwich on the grill plates and it was not bad. Tried out on the plates for actual grilled sandwiches. It was worthless. So is the one for waffles, but no matter because I have a waffle maker. Guess I will keep it but what a waste of money.
Easy to clean. Not as versatile as expected. I really appreciate that the trays are removable. Makes cleaning very easy. The fact that they are interchangeable gives it a lot of versatility.My main gripe is with its “grilling” ability. The tray is really too small for most raw burger patties and they hang out of the sides. You can really only do one at a time, but the fact that there is no way for grease to drain means you can only really cook one or MAYBE two before you have to find a way to empty the grease, which is a pain in the butt because the machine is super hot and you have to somehow lift and drain the entire thing…. which is super messy.
Highly Recommend…Great Value. Very versatile, several ways to use this with items of your choice, easy to use! It gets hot quick. Follow the instructions. Experiment with it at 1st to get a hang on portion control (amount of cheese, bread, eggs, etc…) so go light on portions in the beginning. Storage is a snap since you can store it vertically. Stays hot for awhile even after you unplug it but it’s to be expected.
Need a drip pan for grill. Love and hate it. Perfect for sandwiches and waffles, but how can I use the grill, it have nothing to catch the grease from dripping onto my counter top.
