Such a natural glow. The product itself is a little loose so I need to be careful as I pick up the product or it will fly around. The looseness of the powder is one of the things that make it as nice as it is. At first I thought oh this is not going to cover enough, but I continued and found I did not need all the coverage I was using. I use the shade LIGHT and it is perfect. My skin is “mature” and this product makes it look so radiant in such a natural way. I have many dark spots from the Florida sun so I do concentrate on layering them with a small stiff bristle brush, but that is the charm of this makeup, whatever you see is so OK because the makeup looks so right. I am not use to such light coverage but once I apply my brows, blush and lipstick it is exactly what I wanted. I use the Loreal Glowtion beneath it, but it is just a choice of mine. I feel comfortable to suggest you try LAURA GELLER NEW YORK Award-Winning Baked Balance-n-Brighten Color Correcting Powder Foundation. My skin shade is light leaning a little bit more to med. I hope this helps as far as shades go.

  2. Darker than expected, doesn’t cover flaws. UPDATE: Be aware that there is a color correcting Powder and a color correcting FOUNDATION Powder. The foundation gives coverage. The color correcting powder is just a bronzer. Definitely go a shade lighter than what you usually wear.MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: I was looking for a lightweight natural looking face makeup. I bought the color “fair” which is much darker than I expected. It’s okay for now because I have color from the summer sun. I’ll try porcelain to see if it would be a better match to my skin. The video makes it look like covers flaws like sun spots but it doesn’t. It’s necessary to use a concealer before applying this product. I wanted to give it 5 stars but it didn’t quite meet up to my expectations based on the advertisement.

Good powder. Need to use it more to get a final opinion – it’s a good powder and reasonably priced on Amazon. I think the colours are darker/warmer than I expected. I chose a shade lighter than I would normally go for and I think another shade down would be better match- it’s not terrible match, I can wear it and look normal. I got this to wear over sunscreen for low coverage easy day to day look. If I wanted to build coverage it will look too dark. if u need to build coverage get a shade or 2 lighter than you think. (I shade matched on the Laura Geller website fyi)

  4. Doesn’t offer full coverage. When I saw the video I expected more of a liquid creamy type of foundation. What I got was more of a powder. It’s got an airbrushed look to it. It doesn’t get darker the more you apply. But still doesn’t cover the way they show it in the video. For the most part I’m happy with it because it does give my 39 year old skin a healthy glow. I got fair and it was too dark. This is porcelain in the picture.

  5. Light/ medium build able coverage. I provided a before and after for reference. I applied this only with moisturizer and primer on my skin , no concealer. I feel it provides that natural look that I wanted to be able to quickly have for minimal everyday coverage , and I think if I concealed first it would have been even better. I patted down the foundation into my skin to layer it quite a few times to get medium coverage. Alot of product is needed I feel like. I just got it today though I will update my review as I continue using it. All in all happy with my purchase and love Laura Geller makeup in general.

  6. WOW. JUST WOW. 4.5 out of 5; minus a little for no color/shade samples. I’m almost 60/F, some wrinkles and a fair amount of discoloration, red spots, and sun damage, esp. on cheeks. This foundation (baked balance and brighten, color FAIR) is really easy to use. Feels like nothing, even when building. I used only basic, soft, fluffy brushes I had on hand; they worked well for light coverage, but I do think a denser brush option – like a retracting kabuki, as recommended – might work better for building.Very good coverage on bare skin (moisturizar only), pracrically perfect over an inexpensive primer. Almost all my flaws disappeared, even without concealer.Did not settle in wrinkles, either. I FEEL PRET-TY, OH-SO PRET-TY!…or, at least, “not bad for an old broad, not at all!”.I do find that using primer is better over large pores and significant discoloration, such as have I. I used a budget brand with spf 30 and the foundation went on perfectly. It’s FAST, too. The longest part if the process is waiting for the primer to dry, maybe 1-3 minutes.Found it difficult to shade match – but to be fair: When is it *not* difficult?Would be a very nice thing if Laura Geller Beauty offered an inexpensive “sampler” (say, $5.00 for just enough product for 1/2 face in two adjacent shades) to help in this process.I tried “PORCELAIN” first, but it was just a tad too light. The model wearing “FAIR” looks like an olive tone to me, whereas (I think?) I’m more peachy, like the “LIGHT” model – but I’m super pale…but … but.. hem ..haw..Seems really wasteful to open, use once and return a full product to try a color that isn’t quite right, as I have. “Samplers” would really help reduce the volume of product returns, not to mention reduce waste and carbon footprints – just sayin’.Step up,😀Laura Geller. Make the planet as beautiful as you have me!

Delivery was quick and the shade match is perfect. 100% recommend.

  9. Flawless Finish. I recently purchased the LAURA GELLER NEW YORK Baked Balance-n-Brighten Color Correcting Powder, and it has quickly become one of my favorite makeup products! This powder delivers a beautiful, radiant finish while effectively evening out my skin tone. The baked formula is lightweight and blends seamlessly into my skin, providing a soft-focus effect that makes my complexion look fresh and flawless. I love how it controls shine throughout the day without looking cakey or heavy. A little goes a long way, so it lasts quite a while!I particularly appreciate the color-correcting aspect, as it helps to neutralize redness and brighten dull areas, leaving my skin looking vibrant. It works beautifully on its own or as a setting powder over foundation. If you’re searching for a high-quality powder that delivers on its promises, I highly recommend the Baked Balance-n-Brighten. It’s perfect for achieving a natural, polished look and has earned its place in my daily makeup routine!

  10. Acne, Wrinkles, and Textured Skin. I’m 44 years old and losing the battle on aging lol. I saw the commercials for this and thought I would try it. I want to address all three items in my heading since I have all that at the same time. My skin regiment includes a lot of anti wrinkle creams, retinol, and moisturizers, hence the acne I keep getting. I have gained and lost weight multiple times in my life so the wrinkles and textured skin followed.First off this is too light to cover acne. I recommend a concealer first. I tried layering multiple times just to see if I could get the coverage I wanted. By the time the acne was hidden I looked awful lol. The powder caked way too much after all the layers.Textured skin and wrinkles: moisturizer and foundation primer are a must! This powder is not the best for putting it right on textured skin especially if you want a little extra powder on some spots. It almost enhanced the textured skin I have on my chin. The foundation primer worked well for this and the wrinkles. You still can’t put too much powder on or it will enhance what you are trying to minimize. On the positive side I think the color I chose worked well and the powder is very light and feels nice on my skin. It does add a little luminescent to your complexion. I did go to the Laura Geller website to chose a color first. I bought this from Amazon due to the sale price and Prime shipping. It was not cracked or broken, and it was well packaged in bubble wrap. I picked a cute little retractable Kabuki brush by EcoTools on Amazon also and I love it! Only $8 too!Overall I probably won’t be buying this again. I was trying to find something that would shorten up my makeup regimen so I could skip the foundation. The commercials are very convincing but she has almost flawless skin to begin with. On my best days I could probably use this but I gave up on it about 2 months after buying it.

  11. Amazing make-up. I love this make up. I am 49, and like light weight cosmetics and an easy application routine. This stuff is AMAZING! And I don’t say that lightly. The bright and balance is silky smooth, light weight and takes no ti.e to apply.I put on my concern where I need it, blend it in and then apply my Brighten and Balance foundation with my kabuki brush. A little goes a long way and the coverage is amazing. Finish off with the Laura Geller blush, blend and apply my mascara and I am ready for the day. It only takes me minutes to feel beautiful and I am out the door. The make up lasts all day and my face feels silky smooth. The coverage is amazing too…I love this product so much I have ordered a starter set for my mother for Christmas.

  12. Shade Porcelain. I really LOVE this product! I am a redhead, and the porcelain was a perfect match for me. It blends very well, and the coverage is light. I am 50+ and I have finally found a product that doesn’t sink into my wrinkles. I am thrilled with the results! Lasts all day and into the evening with hardly any touch up.

  13. Impressed with natural finish while providing coverage. I’ve recently started trying the Laura Geller line and I have yet to find a product in the line I don’t like. This baked and balanced powder goes on smoothly with the recommended Laura Geller brush applicator and evens out the skin tone while still looking natural overall. I would highly recommend using moisturizer or brightening cream prior to application. It does not leave my skin feeling dry, and almost feels like you aren’t wearing anything.

  14. Very soft and light, but barely any coverage. I recently ordered a Laura Geller makeup kit that contained blush, bronzer, eyeshadow and highlighter and liked it a lot, so I ordered this foundation to see if it would be a good replacement for the liquid foundation I normally use. I also purchased a brand new retractable kabuki brush to use solely with this foundation. I am in my mid-late 50s and have fair skin. My skin has normal aging (crows feet and mouth lines, as well as freckles and a little discoloration in a couple of places) and tends to be on the dry side rather than oily. I like a “natural” sun-kissed look when wearing makeup, and that is a big part of why this brand appeals to me. Unfortunately, this foundation didn’t work for me. It took me more than double the amount of time it normally takes to apply liquid foundation, and I gave up after 3 or 4 applications with the kabuki brush because I didn’t see a difference at all in my complexion, and I didn’t have time to keep making more applications. The powder is also messy and little bits of it were escaping the container and falling onto my bathroom counter, making a mess for me to clean up. I am pretty disappointed in it, especially since I like the other Laura Geller products a lot. The high number of 4 and 5 star reviews of this product is really baffling to me.

  15. Would recommend. This is a very lightweight buttery powder with a really pretty glow to it. Its NOT full coverage and won’t cover zits or dark circles unless you really build it up but looks weird. Using concealer underneath works well in combination. I also really like the brush for this
