Not as described. These stick, and the spring is too weak to keep the blades open. They are too complicated and time consuming for the comfort of my dog.They work, sort of.Edited info:I popped the dust caps off and adjusted the nut and bolt tension. The product works well now.
easy to use. I’ve been very nervous to clip my dog’s nails for fear of causing bleeding but I’m getting tired of paying the groomer every 5 weeks. Well, this nail clipped has the guard so that you don’t overcut. It works great!!! I’m so glad I bought this. It will pay for itself in no time.
Makes trimming my dog’s nails easy. I have trimmed my other dog’s nails and cut them too short. I’ve been paying the vet to do it because I don’t like hurting my dogs. This trimmer is easy to use and almost impossible to cut too much off, even if the dog is squirming. Buy it, you won’t regret it!
Much better than my old pair. Clean easy cuts with less chance to cut the wick , dog is more relaxed with these I wish I had bought them years ago

I like the safety guard and the little nail file that inserts into the handle. These are excellent clippers and rate them five star as they are easy to use, and get the job done!

Good safety, faulty spring. These clippers have a small metal plate that stops you from cutting too much of the nail into the quick. It works great. My only problem is that the spring between the handles comes out very easily and can be annoying to put back in.

Very easy to use. My chocolate lab has all black nails so I always had to clip his nails by looking at the bottoms … not easy. With the built-in stop, I don’t have to worry about hitting the quick and can cut them quick and easy.
Easy to use and efficient. The trimmers do a good, efficient job of trimming my large dog’s thick nails. It is quick and she will hold still and it causes her not discomfort.
PAWesome product. Team work makes the dream work! Smooth as butter! These velociraptors disguised as dogs did not fight me once! Do know since they were 8 weeks I’ve cut their nails every 2 weeks. So they are used to it. I used to have the furminator nail clippers for years. These surpass those 100 to none! The file is a nice touch but my electric one is much faster. Love that it was smooth and an easy process for all 3 of us!
They work well. They work well my dog wasn’t in pain or anything when I used it. The small size is for smaller breeds for sure the blades don’t open super wide but they cut her nails and didn’t cause any pain so I am happy with them.
