Just one missing feature. These plugs do everything as advertised and they work perfectly. I wish I had gotten a bigger version if they made them because I tried this on my heater and it kept turning off because the smart plugs got to hot. But something less demanding like my box fan works perfectly and I’m sure many other less demanding things would work perfectly, I have my smart plugs scheduled to automatically turn off when my wake up alarm goes off so that when I take the blanket off me I’m not cold. 😂As far as I can tell and I have scowered the app, this app has no kind of assistant integration. So for example I can’t do things like “Hey Google, turn off my box fan.” This would be an appreciated feature.
Works Great, Takes a few steps to get it going. I bought these as an alternative to the amazon smart plug, 4 for the price of one its a no brainer. Now I will say they work great and I have had no issues. BUT you are going to need to be patient if you are trying to set them up with alexa. They do come with step by step instructions that follow pretty closely and will get you to the end result you want. Its just a bit of a lengthy process, but for the money savings I would say it is worth spending 10-15 mins setting them up. Once they are set up though you are good to go no issues and work exactly the same as the one amazon plug I have.
Saves me SO much time (esthetician). If you’re a wax specialist lemme tell you, BAYBEE!!! These plugs have saved me HOURS. I don’t have to wake up at 8am and run to the studio to turn my wax on manually for a 11am appointment. There’s an app where you literally click on & off. The app gives you an option to name each plug as well. I have one labeled “soft wax” the other “hard wax.” This way I know exactly which wax pot I’m turning on. This is the best $20 I ever spent, I’m so serious.
Easiest, most consistent Alexa setup of any smart device. I’m really glad to have these. I only have 2 of the four pack in use right now but each one is so simple to set up. As usual, you do have to install one of the usual suspect apps on your phone to first connect to the plug. The process is really easy and it walks you through it. Then connecting it to Alexa is a snap. You just go into the Alexa app and it literally says that Alexa detected a new device and you just add it. You can also do it through the Gosund app that you need for these plugs.The most annoying part of any smart device is having that folder of smart device apps on your phone for each one. Some use the same one, others use another and you have to remember which is which when they inevitably end up failing or disconnecting themselves one day.In this case, besides the annoyance of having to get another app, these plugs have been the most consistent in terms of always being available and never forgetting their connection like some smart devices (especially the cheaper smart bulbs that like to forget if they were on or off and do random things when the power goes out or the internet is ever lost).
Perfect for your coffee machine. These plug things work amazing. LOL I got it so I dont have to get up and make my wife coffee in the morning . She gets bit cranky when she has no coffee so I pre make it at night , set the schedule timer 30 min before she gets up and i get to sleep in 30 extra minutes. It is a huge blessing to have this. If you dont have any of these in your home you definitely should get some. I also use it for the kids rooms because they forget to turn off their stuff everyday before they leave for school . So while I’m at work and know they are at school I switch it off so all their stuff turns off. This has saved us on our electric bill probably 40-60 bucks month.
