The good, the bad, the ugly. The good…. Great picture quality via the phone/app. Good, not great, picture quality via the built in camera. Easy to use. Fun, interesting technology in a nice package. Low cost pics.The bad…. No on device storage. So… Can not take and save multiple pictures to be printed later After printing, the digital image is gone when you take the next pic. This is a take a pic, print the pic, and wait 2 minutes before next pic can be taken. This is a major design flaw. On device storage is a no brainer to maximize the utility value of the device. Of course if it is just used with the app as a printer from pics in the gallery of your phone, then as a printer it is okay, if a bit slow. BUT…. This device is a camera / printer and no storage devalues the camera functionality enormously.The ugly…. While printing pic 7 in a cartridge, on pass #2 in the printing procees, the paper jammed. A note appeared on the app. “ Paper jammed. Remove print cartridge. If it cannot be removed, contact customer service”. I got the cartridge out. But the print and remaing pappers were destroyed so papers were wasted. I hope that is not a chronic problem because it can wastes a lot of papers.So in summary… I like the device on balance, but it seems like it is a work in process with room for improvements and reliability.
Issues Lately but Great Camera for Kids. We’ve had this camera for 11 months. It is a wonderful camera. I removed one star because I’m frustrated by some major issues coming up right at the 1 year mark. I would love for those to be resolved. And if they are, I would be an unreserved fan of this camera.The recent issues:Lately we have been having trouble with it recognizing or being able to function with some of the film cartridges, which is extremely frustrating because we have only used the Kodak brand film, and it isn’t cheap!In the last month, the quality of the photo images has gone down significantly. I’m not sure if this is related to a firmware update that was just installed. A lot of the pictures appear less in focus and more washed out.The great:We bought this camera for my then-eight-year-old before a big vacation last summer. He loved it, and it was a wonderful way for him to record our once-in-a-lifetime vacation with dozens and dozens of pictures.In the many months sense, taking photographs of his favorite people, or special moments has been a great activity.It is easy to use. The way the photos print is very satisfying to watch. The cyan, yellow, magenta process is a great color theory. LessonI love that it can connect my Bluetooth to my phone so that we can print some thing we captured when he didn’t have his camera on hand.The resulting photos are bright and durable. The 3 x 3” square size is fantastic. He has had a lot of fun creating mini photo albums with some 4” x 4” blank sketchbooks from Michael’s and some glue dots.I didn’t see manufacturer contact information in my purchase records. I would love to find out how to have this camera serviced or replaced. My budding photographer is very frustrated to not be able to print his images today. And we hope to continue, nurturing his photographer’s eye for many years to come.
WORKS! 🤗. I was so skeptical, reading reviews, seeing photos of reviewers photos 😆, yet I decided to get it anyway! SO Happy 😁 with this camera/printer! Way better than the other brand out there.We are so used to hi-def images these days that we’ve forgotten that “instant photos” of old, and now new, didn’t and don’t measure up to professional grade photo development or film. BUT, they’re very good as long as you FOLLOW DIRECTIONS, don’t have outdated or poorly stored film, and have reasonable lighting. So I’m rating this accordingly.Love the fact that you can print your phone 📱 photos too! They actually turn out a bit better. So a suggestion; take a picture with your phone 📱, and print it from this Kodak printer via their easy App! Now you have a memory IN 👏 hand, and not lost in the thousands of phone 📱 photos and forgotten.DEFINITELY RECOMMEND! 🙏👍💯
Fun, and so cute. Great photos printed from camera roll. This is a fun little camera/photo printer.You can take a photo with this camera and print it or print a photo from the camera roll on a mobile device.If you take a photo with this camera, options are print or delete. No photo card, so delete means deleted.Also, like others wrote, photos printed from a camera roll are much better than ones taken with this camera.It is fun to snap and print, but you will be happier taking photos with your phone and using this as a printer to print them. The photos will come out as good as photos printed via an online service.I do print most of mine online anyway, as I am not sure of the longevity of these instant photos, as far as colour and clarity. The old Polaroids from my youth are faded and grainy, but this photo paper is different technology and doesn’t have that layer of chemical inside, so I am thinking these will last a lot longer.And, the colours! They are accurate. I have taken several photos of food with my iPhone and printed them with this Kodak instant printer. The food is so realistic it looks like the actual food and not a photo of food. I have another Kodak camera (Step). It uses Zink paper and prints 2 x 3s. The printed photos come out NOTHING like the actual photos. Ever. I edit. Does not matter. It’s disheartening. Very disappointing. I hope someone works on that technology and they put out an updated printer that prints like this Kodak camera/printer. I love this one! Oh, and you can write on the white part (edges) and also the back if you want to label them with dates, events, names, etc. And, you can choose border or borderless!The only negative thing about this camera/printer is the fact it is available in so many cute colours it is hard to choose which one to buy! Oh, that and the beeping, but I read somewhere it beeps when it is not fully charged. I hope that’s the reason! But, I totally recommend this printer. Print from your device. You will be so happy with this printer!
The negative reviews seem unjust. I rarely write reviews, but upon purchasing and using this product and seeing the onslaught of negative reviews, I had to sit down and type one out.First, I do not understand the negative reviews. Maybe some critical thinking skills aren’t being applied when others have bought this product. You see lots of “My iPhone/Android camera takes better quality pictures!” in the complaints. Let’s dissect this. Most smartphones nowadays retail for nearly $1,000 in total, and a key element in their advertising is not only the quality of the built in cameras but the constant improves from model to model. Of course, a smart phone camera is going to produce better quality pictures. It’s one of the reasons we spend our hard earned money on them. If all we needed was a device to call and text, we’d still be using flip phones. Let’s put our thinking caps on and remember why the little computers in our pockets can take excellent if not astounding quality pictures – because they’re built to!Now, this Kodak camera does state it prints “superior photo” quality, but it does not boast “state of the art” quality or even “smart phone” quality, because it knows its place and that would be a flat out lie. Read the fine print, people! Superior does not automatically equate to breathtaking, especially when you look at the product itself. Once again, this is a basic camera/tool. It is not built to be an equal to a smartphone which is essentially, as I said, a mini-computer; It is not built to be an equal to even the lowest tier of professional photography cameras. It IS however, built to be a simple, basic photo taking device that you can also connect to your phone, iPad or other supported device if you choose to.It does what it says on the box, so I am happy with this purchase. I suspect other customers were expecting something far more complex and souped up, and that is not what this camera is.Now, the only cons I have for it is that printing process is a little slow, but it takes less than a minute. The paper quality is good though, so I’ll let this slide. You can’t have everything, especially if you’re buying something that is quite budget when it comes to bells and whistles. And that’s another thing I’d like to mention – this prints on modern day photo paper. Do not expect the thick, flimsy paper that actual polaroid cameras printed on. If that’s what you’re after, then you’ll be better off heading over to eBay or a pawn shop.This is a modern take on an old school favorite. Understand what you’re buying, and you will be a satisfied customer.
Very fun! Pictures are cute. I ordered this to use for our wedding guestbook, and I think the test photos came out super cute!The print quality is probably a little better than a Polaroid. Kinda reminds me of photos from an inkjet printer before they made them specifically for printing photos at home. Very much an early 2000s look.If you’re wanting a fun/novelty type product, this is perfect. I think my guests will have a blast taking selfies and printing their guestbook photos, and I’m excited to see them all!
Love it. Great quality from phone app decent from camera over all it is great however the battery dies pretty fast.
Picture quality isn’t the best. Actual pictures taken with the camera are not the best but printing pictures from your camera roll from your phone is so quick and easy and good quality.

It prints high quality pictures from your phone, but not top of the line quality. It’s a fun retro camera/printer that will capture great family and friend pics for albums or display in your home. Super convenient and stylish, I print great quality pics from my phone all the time, and the camera function is there in a pinch if I need it.Likes: prints great photos from your phone via bluetooth, nice case and cool design, photo print quality is very good, several fun options for filters and borders, photos can be edited to get the print to look like you want it to (saturation, sharpness, contrast, etc.), prints come out finished in less than a minute (but not instantly, the picture goes in and out 4 times)Things To Know: this is best used as a printer in my opinion, picture quality will obviously not be as good as your phone when using the camera feature, the little preview screen on the back does not have high enough resolution for you to really be able to tell the quality of the picture you just took (minor blurriness or poor focus will not be obvious), if you’re printing more than 10 or 15 photos then you’ll need to probably keep it charging

“Mini Shot” it is exactly what you get. I love this Camera, I read the lower reviews and i’m sorry but if you wanted bigger pictures- then don’t get a “Mini Shot” camera. I took a picture of my pet in the night and the picture quality was good, not excellent but again, it is a mini photo camera/printer. For the camera and 3 cartridges of 30 each prints, it is great deal. I’ve used it several times no issues. Does it take time to print, yes but not 25-30 minutes like someone said. The details let you know it is a printer, and just like all color printers it takes a short bit of time to get the correct colors. I enjoy using it and would buy it again. (I am at work so I don’t have a pic of a pic)
My 9 year old son asked for this for his birthday and he hasn’t let it go since. Great product, prints photos from your phone as well and comes with everything you need and more.
Dispositivo um pouco diferente. A câmera não possui muita qualidade, porém permite tirar fotos divertidas sem muita qualidade refinada nas impressões feitas com estes cliques. Porém, quando se pede para imprimir uma foto vinda de um celular, a qualidade da foto muda drasticamente. O cartucho tem preço bem razoável. Costumo selecionar bem as fotos que vou imprimir. Aí vale a pena. Adorei o produto
