Acceptible Opertion. I am reviewing the mount, not the camera on the mount. My overall review is reduced by ONE factor. One the mount does not automatically rotate to the location of the motion, as seen by the camera. UPDATED 7/28/2023: My BAD……………. I previously incorrectly reviewed the mount as not being able to be used at a higher location to prevent inteference from furniture and such. Well, the problem was not either the mount or camera. I confess that I missed or confused mounting the camera on the mount correctly. There are two connections on the camera to fit onto the mount to aid this problem. The one I had attached the mount was for ceiling mounting and it did cause the problem of getting the camera view up and over tall objects. Didn’t realise my mistake until I ordered and was mounting the camera on a wall/ceiling metal mount bought after my original feedback. I will keep the wall/ceiling metal mount as I still have more locations to cover. Sorry if I confused any one.

  2. They work. Easy to connect being I have had different types of cameras same for all and PTZ we easy works fast Glad with then for 30 days free Replay after that you have to subscribe to review what happen. Other then that you can us them for live view with no back play or review to see Cloud cost $30 per camera 1 Year$100 for the year unlimited

  3. What isn’t obvious-sorry. The camera is great just like the mini.it is the tilt mount that is misrepresented. From photos it appears you can use it sitting on a table and I suppose you could if you have any interest in taking a picture of the ceiling, top of cabinets etc. in order to see the room in normal view it will have to be mounted high up or placed on the top of a cabinet. Of course you can’t mount it as is. You have to buy a separate wall mount. It just doesn’t tilt low enough to sit on table etcUpdate: just couldn’t believe this would be the case. Even though I thought I had given this careful thought and inspection I looked again and realized the camera had two ports-switched to the other one and it is perfect. Info with it could be a bit clearer. Love it now.

  4. Pan/tilt. So far so good.I have been an early Blink customer. Have a number of 1st and 2nd gen cameras around the perimeter.I have the wired floodlight too, and it’s finally working 95% of the time. Still has some short recordings. The pan/tilt has been great from set up. Nice to be able to pan/tilt, and best of all no worries about batteries! Can cover a pretty wide area security. So far very happy with it! Got it during a sale just to see if it was useable. Proof of concept so to speak.I will probably get more as finances allow. Past few years disposable income really shrunk.

Awesome. I bought this to put on the bar between my kitchen & livingroom so I can keep an eye on my dogs & stuff when I’m gone (or can even just check on things while I’m upstairs). The 360 degree thing makes it to where I can view the entire space without installing multiple cameras. It’s a perfect security camera.

  8. Incredible bang for the buck–I wish there was an outdoor version this cheap. ALL of the Blink stuff I have ordered is getting this same review. After doing an insane amount of research for a home security camera system I settled on Blink for ease of set up and cost. In both of those areas there really isn’t a close second. As far as reliability, I’ll check in again in a year or two–but other reviews indicate reliability is good. So, good news: easy set-up, great prices, video quality is as good as any, motion sensors and other software adjustable stuff is easy to understand and do.Bad news: The system is crazy slow. I knew that going in, so it might be a bigger deal to you. I’m willing to live with it mostly–down the road I plan to put in a much faster, wired, real time system with only one or two cameras, and Blink has a new “Sync Module” that is supposed to have greater range–and maybe speed things up a bit. The slow is annoying…but not a deal breaker. It has notified me of low batteries a few times–so now I just let it go and they seem to recover on their own. I’ve also had one or two go offline and I had to reinstall them. I think there are two factors causing this, and again for the price I am willing to live with it. For one thing I have the wireless range maxed out even with an extender for my WiFi network. The other factor is it is currently the dead of Winter and cold beyond all reason. 9 degrees last night, high is 31 today. Lots of snow and wind, too. I’m harder to get along with in this weather myself, so I’ll put up with some additional problems with electronics that live outside.Bottom line? After three months I’m happy with it and I recommend any and all of the parts of the system I’ve bought. It works as advertised and it’s way cheap–including the annual subscription if you want cloud storage. I will be buying a couple more pieces soon. It is fully functional as long as you don’t need a lot of speed. I’m talking about minutes when I’m antsy and want seconds.
