Good performance. This pen is good competitor of Pilot Acroball fine point. 7mm only difference uniball jetstream fine point smear a little as not drying fast enough, Pilot Acroball dries immediately hits paper, even better than Pentel Guidewrite fine point. Still recommend Uniball jetstream fine point at .7mm over Pilot Acroball fine point as such skips a lot, Uniball jetstream fine point. 7mm is consistent ink flow with no smearing but it has special ink to prevent fraud or negative effects on special products or papers. Pilot Acroball Pro only comes in medium point or 1.0 mm is a good pen for medium point not fine point they skip a lot, Pentel Guidewrite fine point not as good is better medium point, finally any fine point only recourse to Uniball jetstream fine at .7mm as using hybrid ink or advanced ink also called.
The best pen I’ve ever used. Comfortable and reliable. I’m in my senior years, so I’ve seen quite a few pens over time. I discovered this pen in 2009 when my employer began supplying them. They usually had the medium point available for our use. I decided to try the fine, with a 3-pack purchase at a local store. I was SOLD immediately. I finally had a pen that allowed me to fine-print on documents that needed to be hand dated and signed. I soon bought this box of 12 fine-point pens and still have few unused ones left.
No smearing or blotting. Wirecutter (New York Times ratings) ranked this pen #1 for not blotting or smearing. Having tried them, I concur. Now I can sign birthday cards and forms without ugly smears. The price is great for such good pens.
These are my favorite pens. They are smooth and neat looking. I’ve never had one fail me. Everyone is always trying to steal them. One of my nurses even ordered herself a box immediately. The only think I wish is that the black ink inside would be black outside instead of navy blue because it confuses some thinking they will have blue ink.
As Good As You’ll Find. Never used a better ball point pen than these and can’t imagine how any other could match them.
Thanks Wirecutter. I grabbed the Uniball Jetstream RT 3 Pack in 0.7mm Fine Black because Wirecutter said they’re the top dogs, and man, they weren’t kidding. These pens are legit and totally worth the five stars.Writing with these is a dream. They just glide on paper, making everything I write look way smoother. Whether it’s keeping my agenda in check or spilling my guts in my journal, these pens make the process a breeze.The ink is the real MVP here – it comes out super consistent, no skips or globs, and dries fast enough that I don’t end up smudging anything. And since I’m not left-handed, smudging is usually a non-issue, but it’s nice not having to worry about it at all.I’m also digging the design. They feel good to hold, not like those pens that cramp your style (and your hand). Plus, they’re clicky pens, so no caps to lose and no random ink stains in my bag. They feel sturdy, too, not like they’re gonna fall apart after a week.Using these pens for my agenda and journal has been a total upgrade. It’s not just about the smooth writing; it’s knowing every time I click one of these bad boys, it’s gonna work no problem. Seriously, if you need a pen that won’t let you down and makes your handwriting look good, these Uniball Jetstreams are the way to go. Wirecutter nailed it with this recommendation.

Great Pens. Never been particular about the ink pen I use. A pen is a pen is a pen. Nope. This purchase changed my mind. There definitely is a difference. These are very nice pens. They feel good in my hand and flow smoothly and easily when writing. I haven’t experienced smudges either. Although I have other pens, I always find myself reaching for one of these.

I highlight a lot of stuff for school, and this is perfect for that. My only gripe is that it’s thinner than the Pilot G2 even though they’re both 0.7 mm, but I can get over that. Amazing pen, a bit expensive, but worth it for a writing fiend like me!

Lives Up To The Hype. This Uniball Jetstream RT Pen did not disappoint! I purchased it based on all the hype, but I’d say it lives up to it! I was pretty skeptical at first, not going to lie. I’m typically underwhelmed by “populat” picks, but not in this case. The pen is as smooth writing as many claim it to be. I often write pages at a time, which eventually strains my hand, regardless of the pen I’m using. This pen is so smooth and glides across the page so well, I’ve not experienced any fatigue so far. That’s probably the quality I find most impressive at this point. Definitly give it a try. The odds are good you’ll love it, too.
Great pens. I love these gel pens. They write well with no ballpoint type glitches. You can’t use them on shiny paper or they will smear but that’s true of all gel pens. Also, they last a really long time. Definitely worth the price!
