Brooks Men’s Ghost 14 Neutral Running Shoe

New Favorite Running Shoes. These shoes are the real deal…definitely agree with everyone else’s 5-star rating. I run about 3 times a week, 10 miles per run, averaging 8-9 miles per hour. Been a die hard New Balance 993 or 990v wearer since I started running years ago. The superb cushioning and support kept me coming back, even though they are more expensive and heavier than other shoes. One of my running partners uses Brooks and convinced me to give the Ghost a try. I was doubtful something so light could provide the same kind of cushioning and support I got from my 993s or 990vs. Boy was I wrong.First, they’re noticeable lighter…almost to the point of seeming weightless (probably the reason they named them Ghost). Second, the cushioning and support is superb…just as good as the latest version of the 990v. No shin splints, joint pain, or anything similar. Third, they mesh weave uppers are strong and durable while still being thin to keep my feet cool. Fourth, they’re noticeably more “springy” and help push me along. Fifth, I feel less fatigued towards the end of my run and feel like I could easily go another mile or two.The other day I realized I hadn’t run in my 990vs since my first run in these shoes. So, I ordered two more pairs to get me through the next 12 months when the Ghost 14s were reduced to 35% of their original price during Black Friday. (I typically retire my shoes around 400-500 miles). I think they’re a fantastic value at this price point.I wear an 11 in New Balance and found sizing up a half size to 11.5 in these shoes gave me a near perfect fit.

Impressive Deal and Familiar Comfort. I couldn’t be happier with my recent purchase of these shoes. Snagging them at an excellent price of around $89 during Amazon Prime Day was a bonus, but what truly influenced my decision was my positive experience with a previous pair I’ve owned since last year.The Ghost 14’s performance has been solid and dependable. Right out of the box, they offered the comfort and support I remember from my old pair. The midsole cushioning feels just right, providing a smooth ride that makes each step feel effortless, even during longer runs.As a neutral runner, stability is crucial, and the Ghost 14 delivers on that front. The outsole provides reliable traction, keeping my feet steady on various surfaces. I appreciate how the shoe’s design promotes a natural stride, making my runs feel smooth and comfortable.Durability has been another pleasant surprise. My previous pair lasted me for well over a year (in fact they’re still going strong), and I have no doubt these new ones will do the same.Breathability is a welcome feature, especially during warmer runs. The upper mesh keeps my feet cool and dry, enhancing overall comfort during workouts.The Ghost 14’s versatility is worth mentioning too. I use them for outdoor runs on different terrains, treadmill workouts at the gym, and even casual wear. Wonderful. I am an 80 year old who highly recommends this shoe for walking. They provide great comfort AND support. I have high arches and I wear inserts, but so far the proprietary inserts are working well. One feature I truly admire is the heel cup. Other shoes have a split seam at the heel that always gives away first. This has a wraparound cup that fits well and does not give out. I have been walking on average 2 miles per day preparing for an up coming trip…GREAT SHOE.

These are WONDERFUL. I have been on a fitness journey and walking several miles almost every day. My feet were killing me so I asked friends for recommendations. Brooks was #1! I tried cheaper Brooks models but there was zero comparison to the Ghost. They make walking a lot easier and I can last longer. They are extremely comfortable. The toe box does not fit tight and the drop is natural. This color is beautifully vivid and vibrant.I wear a womans size 12 (sometimes 12W). The mens 11.5 fits me perfectly.I loved my Brooks Ghost so much that I just bought a new pair of Ghost 15 on sale! I would HIGHLY recommend that you stop looking and buy these. Just keep an eye on sales!

Better than Topo Terraventure 4 and Altra Via Olympus 2. I wanted walking shoes. I ordered 3 pairs of men’s shoes, the Brooks Men’s Ghost 14 Neutral Running Shoe, Topo Athletic Terraventure 4, and the Altra Via Olympus 2, all in size 11.5 as wide as they come. I normally wear 11.5 4E (extra wide). Between the three, the Brooks were the most comfortable, felt most supportive, and fit best. Brooks price is steep. I had been using Asics Gel-Contend 7, which also have a roomy width in 4E. The Asics are less supportive, but also much less in cost. I have yet to try the Asics Gel-Contend 8.

Excellent shoes for runners. I have had these shoes for the past two years and I have to say, they are by far one of the my best running shoes I have owned. made with strong materials, they handle daily runs and long distance without wearing out. they performance is excellent, providing great support and cushioning, which makes running more efficient. they grips works well in different environments. The quality has exceeded my expectations. they are designed with breathable fabric and extra padding for confort, and the craftsmanship is top notch. I’ve also noticed that these shoes age very slowly and are dust resistant, staying clean longer by repelling dust and dirt, which makes them easy to maintain.Overall, these shoes are a good choice for runners combining toughness, performance, and quality, with the added bonus of being dust resistant.

Comfort and Stability. Brooks makes the best sneakers I’ve ever worn!
