Best clipper ever. I want to rate this 5 stars because it cuts my dog’s nails so easily. I have had all kinds of nail clippers, I didn’t like any of them. I bought this pair a few weeks and absolutely love them, apparently my dog does also, he sit perfectly still while I trimmed his nails, which he has never done! They are sharp and make a good clean cut without cutting the dogs nails to make them bleed. He is a 9 lb Maltese and a year old. I have a 12 year old Maltapoo and knew I would have trouble cutting her nails, as the older she gets the grumpier she gets, sorta like all of us. She is quite a bit larger than the male. She weighs approximately 18 lbs. I sit her on my lap and she saw the clippers in my hand and got skiddish, she is smarter. Anyway, after one nail trim, she did not flinch at all, she sit perfectly still until I clipped all her nails. She has dark nails so it is hard to see how far to cut, I read on the package instructions to cut a small amount the first time and cut them again the next week, it has worked fine! Better than paying to get their nails cut all the time. They get regular grooming, but their nails grow faster than the hair. I give these clippers 5 stars and the manufacturer 100 stars.THANK YOU!!!! Great clippers!!! Well worth the price! I would really recommend these clippers.
Will last 10 years if you take care of them, but slightly too large. I’ve always been in love with this design in clippers. Very easy to use, and probably the best style I have used in my entire veterinary technician career. I will say they are kinda large, but that’s just personal preference on my part. I have cut easily over 300+ dogs toenails, and I use small clippers on every size dog. You don’t need large clippers for a large dog, or medium for medium dogs. I feel with the smaller clippers I have more control and are less likely to take more nail off then desired. That can cause bleeding and be very painful for the dog. These clippers also come with a standard guard, which I usually remove because all dogs nails and quicks grow at very different rates so the guard really doesn’t measure length of trim anyways. Over all even it being larger than I’d like, this design is in my opinion the best on the market. This set I just bought replaced my identical green set that I have been using for over 10 years before replacing it with this new one. They are easy to keep sharp, and easy to take care of and from personal experience will last you for at least 10 years if you take proper care of them. Definitely a good buy!
SAVED A LOT OF STRESS–THANK YOU. Our black lab rescue is about 12 years old and has slowed down a lot. His nails needed trimmed but he’s hard to take to the vet because of bad hips and getting him loaded in the car, etc. All that stresses him and me out.I took a chance with your product because if they worked like advertised, it would save a lot of grief, time and money.Thank you, thank you, thank you! These clippers are awesome!I let the dog sniff them and went right to work as he was lying down. He barely moved! I did all toenails the first time, then did a second round about two days later (because they were very long). Same dog reaction: Hardly moved at all. Same owner reaction: I’m such a happy duck!Clippers are simple to use, very efficient in cutting and well-made. I can’t say enough good things about this purchase!
Best clippers that I’ve used. Tried these out on my 40 pound beagle a couple of nights ago. I had let his nails go way too long and tried these new clippers. Amazing job done on his nails. He sat still and let me work on him, which was a blessing. The clippers were a bit difficult to get over a couple of his nails but once on, it cut through them really well. On the last couple, it seemed like it was a bit harder to cut but it could have just been the nail itself.Hoping these last a long time and continue to cut well. Unsure if they can be sharpened but if they can hold out through a few trimmings, they will definitely be worth it. So far, I am impressed and so is the beagle!
Great trimmers, but safety guard gets in the way. My dog luckily has almost all while toenails which makes it easy to see the inner quick. Because I can see exactly where I need to stop the the trimmer I haven’t needed the safety guard and I usually find it irritating because it gets in the way but most of the time. There is no way to remove it, so generally I’m just fighting to keep it turned off to the side and out of the way.The clippers themselves are fantastic, other than that. They are nice and grippy and allow me to hold them at strange angles in order to trim my dogs toenails however he may be positioned. A quick snap and they cut right through his large toenails with little resistance. I’ve only use the file a few times and don’t find it helpful for me, but we take a lot of walks on sidewalks and concrete that naturally files them down and reduces the sharp edges.
functional. The guard works well, though I wish it was fixed in place. The handle could use some reinforcement as it flexes if your dog has thicker nails. Overall, functional and cheap
GREAT GREAT GREAT. My pittie pup hates getting her nails clipped and I always have to go pay to get them done. I took a chance and bought these “cheap” clippers and swore i as going to do it myself.They are so easy to use, guide you, and super sharp so they clip great. I don’t even think she noticed what I was doing!!!!Great purchase even if you are skeptical to try on your own.
Perfect for small dogs. These are so easy to use and very sharp. It trimmed my Chihuahua nails in a few seconds. The guard can be moved out of the way if you’re experienced with DIY nail trimming. I did not try the nail file because I don’t find it necessary. They performed as well if not better than I expected and feel great in my hand. Good nail trimmers for the price!
Purfect. These nail clippers were just what I needed to finish off my grooming routine with our Mini Schnauzers. I was very hesitant to clip their nail myself, but these were super easy to use.

Also because I only paid just a few dollars for them I thought they wouldn’t be able to through my large dogs thick nails. BUT I WAS WRONG! THEY CUT THROUGH THE FIRST NAIL WITH COMPLETE EASE! 😀 I continued to cut and I nearly hand to use any strength in my hand. I went through all of my dogs nails quickly and easily. These clippers were a replacement for a heavier pair I had that I lost. But that pair, at some points I had to use two hands to pull the clippers together on the second use. I’m so excited I found these and I look forward to taking care of my big dog 🐕 for a long time. (I didn’t need to use the file because the cut was perfect)

Simplified my life considerably. This is apparently what my chihuahua was waiting for. She sat still and let me trim her nails with them. Even though she’s the sweetest, friendliest and even tempered little thing I’ve ever known it still took two of us to get them done before. One to hold and one to trim. These were way more acceptable to her than the grinder type. Who knows why? Dogs are weird. Especially chihuahuas.

Works great. My dog has really tuff nails and these clippers work great on getting thru them. Also great quality material they have been made out of. I was surprised at how well made they are for the price I paid. Definitely recommend if you need good quality clippers.
Perfect. Dog hates it, I love it. It’s pretty solid and can handle clipping my dogs talons really well. I really like the guard at the end that helps me measure how long to clip. It makes it really easy to clip without splintering the nail and the grip on it is nice.

They were packaged, nice and secure and delivered on the time frame promised.These toe nail clippers were purchased for my 5 pound Chihuahua. As anyone knows., trimming any small dogs dewclaws is a challenge with normal animal toenail clippers. Due to their teeny tiny structure. Normally, I end up using my own large toenail clippers on her dewclaws. This was the first time I have ever had the appropriate size. Trimming toenails was fast., easy with no fight. My Chihuahua, Hazel, and I say thank you.

Perfect cut. For the price, I wasn’t expecting much. I was totally wrong? My dog’s nails are thick and his prior owner probably never cut them. These done great. My daughter even commented how much better his nails look. I’m very happy with my purchase.
