Satisfied with the purchase. I purchased this for home use. No gaming or other resource intensive purpose. I have been sold on HP products since the Compaq days. I base that on working as an I.T. professional for 25 years. The Envy has a lot going for it with the touch screen, 360 fold that means I don’t need an iPad, as well as being a dependably performing computer. The graphics are excellent. I looked at a lot of different laptops and when I came across the Envy, I knew immediately it was the computer for which I had been searching. If you want a quality computer for use with the Microsoft Office suite and every day browsing, you won’t be disappointed.
So far so good. I have had this laptop for a week. It has performed very well up to this point. I wish it had a number pad like my older Envy X360 however other than that this is an amazing laptop which performs extremely well. I have even tried a few games which have performed well. I plan to add some extra RAM, to upgrade the SSD , upgrade the OS to Win 11 Pro, and I am looking into an aftermarket option to turn the touch pad into a number pad since I primarily use a mouse. These upgrades will only be to enhance what has already proven to be a great laptop.
Ok laptop to start with. Overall this is just an OK laptop, but has alot of potential. If you spend the extra $150 on more ram and increasing the storage space this becomes a beast of a machine and I’ve had no issues gaming with it since. My two upgrades were a new M2 2TB for storage and 32gb of ram ( read alot that you couldn’t have more than 16gb, but mine reads all 32gb)
Sleek Laptop. A very sleek and lovely laptop, However the battery life of mine isn’t so good, dies off in 2hrs even without heavy duty. Don’t know if it’s just mine or the battery was compromised for its sleekness
I love my HP Envy 360. The touch screen in addition to the mouse pad is very functional. Mine has a separate number pad on the right that I find useful. Not all models have this, so look carefully when you are shopping, if you want this feature. The keys are backlit which is also a great feature if using yourn PC at night, in low light. You can completely rotate the keyboard to the back (hense the “360”) and hold it as a large tablet to read from.
Nice. This is an amazing laptop! It has noise canceling speaker that way you can use it without headphones if needed.
What I expected. Pretty good value for the price.
Poor execution on features makes for an overpriced gimmick. Longevity of device suspect. Only used this for school and sometimes work. Very light use — most times I opt to work from home on my other devices and can watch lectures/study from home on those other devices. Despite this, the laptop has stopped turning on and I’ve only owned it for a little over a year now. Neither AC adaptor nor battery is the issue and ran through a host of troubleshooting and attempted solutions. Going to get this checked out by professionals tomorrow to decide how I want to proceed as the issue seems to run much deeper than what I can handle by myself. Very disappointed about the longevity of this device. I don’t know if it’s the components or what, but I have never had a device die on me this quickly. Also, the touch screen feature is a terrible gimmick on this device. Converting from laptop to touch screen device like they display in the images and back will actually break the computer and the programs you’re running on it. Laptop needs to be restarted every time you try to go from one mode to the other just so the computer can understand left from right again. Frankly not worth the effort to utilize this feature. Once I gave up on using it as a tablet, I just used the touch features for easy scrolling and zooming — but those are both functions you can get just by bringing a mouse or using the keyboard shortcuts. If you need a tablet, get a tablet. This is best used as a laptop and is not worth the extra cost for the touch functionalities. What else is there to say? Oh yeah, there’s always artifacts burned into the screen when using this device, especially if you try and use it as a tablet. Annoying and distracting. The fingerprint reader is also gimmicky and not worth the extra cost.EDIT: Motherboard issues confirmed. For something that I used maybe 2-3 times a week at best and maintained well. I went and bought another HP laptop as a holdover. Big mistake. Do not buy HP.
2tb M.2 64gb Gskill Ram.. letgit Portable Power House. I have 64GB of RAM and a 2TB drive, which I added after I got this. When you go to play games, it shows 32GB of VRAM. I can play any Halo game at full settings at 60fps with little to no drop, other than in extreme wide open battles, and then it’s usually no more than 56fps for a second. I can play Resident Evil 4 Remake at 17-30fps, depending on what settings I use. Crysis 3 Remastered plays around 30fps. Regardless of what I’ve thrown at it, I’ve been able to find a way to get it to a reasonable 20-30fps. This is on a CPU/GPU combo with a 15W default power supply and a 19W max that I’ve seen from HWMonitor. I got this because of the 64GB of RAM and it splitting between system and VRAM, but I didn’t know about the watts limit. I would offer this more for conversions of music, video heavy graphic editing, but it’s not meant to be a gaming machine as I thought. It’s more than you will need for almost anything else. Once you upgrade it properly to at least 16GB and 1TB, it will be a great machine for those tasks. Also, Windows 11 will be implementing APK support, or already has in some ways, which means you can use this as a tablet as it will work with Android apps. This machine has so many potential uses, and it’s really awesome.

10/ 10 Laptop. The media could not be loaded. I love this laptop I have had zero issues in the 2 years I’ve owned it I play alot of PC games with downloaded content and have not run into any issues. For the price point you really can’t find anything comparable in my opinion 10/10
Love this computer. Love this computer runs fast with Adobe programs and the Microsoft suite. Looks and feels very premium! The only downside is the battery doesn’t last me thru the day I’m always beside an outlet so it’s not an issue for me but for others it may be.
