Not great for lawnmower blades, but excellent for other things. I bought this mainly as a way to sharpen my lawnmower blade, but after using it, this is probably not the best tool for that. That being said, this tool is very useful for sharpening other things like scissors and bypass pruners, and other things. I’ve used it already to sharpen every pair of scissors in the house, and it does a good job with that. It also sharpen my bypass pruners without a problem. It’s easy to use, and I do like all the different sharpening areas of the tool. Even though it doesn’t do a very good job with my lawnmower blade, because it doesn’t have a “deep” enough reach; I would still purchase this sharpening tool again for the other uses that I found. It’s pretty cool, and it’s lightweight and easy to use.
Versatile Sharpener. Used this tool to sharpen my lawn mower blade without having to remove the blade. I recommend this sharpener for this purpose. I plan on using it to sharpen other garden tools.
Nice Tool. Sharpened my hedge trimmers easily and about every tool that needed sharpening. Good descriptions in the manual.
Sharpal 103N All-in-1 Knife Garden Tool Multi-Sharpener is Awesome. I have sharpened my hand clippers, large clippers, and everything I cut with. It makes the job of cutting and working in the yard go faster, as it sharpens so you get whatever you are cutting with the first cut. It has so many purposes for all my sharpening needs. It is a must have.
Worked great. This handy tool worked great and easy to use on all of our scissors and hand trimmers. Also worked on our hedge trimmer
Knife sharpener. I bought this to sharpen my swords,it works great if you bought a sword that is not sharp or somewhat sharp,same as your dull knives,this is a great product
Beyond Sharp Knife Sharpener That Will Sharpen Just About Everything. I purchased this handy little knife sharpener because I’m tired of using all the different sharpening stones that I own; just too much trouble getting them all and cleaning them. My intentions at time of purchase is to use this to sharpen my lawnmower blade. The businesses near where I live charge what this things costs and more for a one-time sharpening. Also, many of those sharpening services use grinders which I’ve learned can damage your lawnmower blade. Since this little sharpener works on so many types of devices from knives, to shears, to lawnmower blades and more, I decided to try it on my Kershaw pocket knife that was becoming dull. After following the directions exactly as described and a few pulls of the blade I checked out the sharpness. Wow! This pocket knife is now sharper than when it was brand new. In fact, it is much sharper than brand new. I of course couldn’t wait to try it on my lawnmower as it’s been having trouble properly cutting the blades of grass. I removed the lawnmower blade and followed directions using the Sharpal on the blade. After sharpening I powered up the lawnmower and cut my heavily overgrown front lawn. Again, Wow! This thing really put a great edge on my blade and the grass was cut just like when my machine was new, actually it probably cut it even more precisely. I can’t think of a more handy and versatile sharpener than the Sharpal. It’s small and easy to store, sharpens pretty much everything, and is a really good price. Excellent tool for everyone to have on hand. Just be careful after you sharpen things as you may be surprised just how sharp you get them. Definitely a strong recommend from me.
Easy to use. Does the job. I watched several reviews which made me settle on this one. So far, I’ve only used this on my Fiskars hand pruner which had gotten really dull. I have very small hands and this sharpener was easy to hold. Directions were easy to follow. Just a few pulls through the sharpener and the pruners were cutting smoothly through twigs and my cat palm again. Can’t wait to use this on my larger loppers. Bought this in the bundle with the knife sharpener which I haven’t used yet. Highly recommend for the money.

Easy to use, great results. I use this mainly for my scissors and pruners. It made my dull ones all sharp enough (I might not have the perfect angle so my pruners are not super sharp) to cut the flowers.It made all my kitchen knives really sharp. It is safe and easy to use.
Very well made knife sharpener. I like the speed of which I can sharpen my assortment of tools, like my scissors, garden axe, garden shears, tin snips. This sharpener seems really durable and has the ability to sharpen quite a lot of different blades. The fact that it isn’t powered is actually a benefit… no batteries, recharger, plugs.. so it is portable, compact, and it can handle various different angles of sharp tools. I was afraid the surfaces that are used to sharpen the blades would become dull over many sharpening sessions, but I haven’t found that to be the case. Good solid metal sharpener that is easy to hold.
Unlikely to sharpen an axe. I bought this to sharpen a machete and it works quite well for that purpose. Unfortunately the angle of the sharpener is too acute, so the axe head will not fit in the slot.
Perfect for sharpening garden tools and lawnmower blade. Works great for garden tools and sharpening my push lawnmower blade. Don’t take shortcuts, wear gloves and take your time when using tool to sharpen tools and lawnmower blades. It works great. After using a few times, I purchased a second one to us in my summer home. Well-made product.
Pleasantly Surprised. This lightweight sharpener has several uses, but my main use is for a mower blade. Pull the blade through the sharpener and you can feel it “bite” the metal. The result is a reasonably sharp blade. It doesn’t leave a professional edge, but it is better than paying to get the blade sharpened a couple of times a year. Nice, lightweight, but effective product.

I have lots of different knives and garden shears that have become just dull enough over the years that I needed something that was versatile but not a big expense.This little tool solved my problem. Not good for gardening tools. They do sharpen but they don’t do well with gardening tools. I thought the way it was designed it would make it easier to use but I have small hands and they slip. Might work for others but not for me.
Definitely Worth The Money & More. This is an excellent piece of equipment. I really didn’t know what to expect, but I had read reviews & after reading decided to try one since I usually spent money taking my lawnmower blade to a Family Hardware store to be sharpened & have to wait so many days or weeks to get the blade back. I had actually called around before ordering to see if I could get in anywhere to have my blade sharpened & most places were booked up. The place that I usually went to had a 2 to 4 week return time.When I received my Sharpener, I immediately opened it & read the instructions & tried it out on my lawnmower blade. It sharpened it pretty good & sliced right through my front & back yards with no problem. I would recommend for anyone who has had to deal with taking their lawnmower blade to a Hardware Store & had to wait weeks to get it back only to be charged a high price.This Sharpner is easy to use & sharpens great (If U follow the instructions). It can be used on numerous types of blades & is inexpensive. It pays for itself in 1 use. I would definitely purchase again…
Convenient and a quality, well designed tool. Sharpening tools has never been a well honed skill for me. This product has made a huge difference in the results I get with scissors, clippers, and knives. My old tools no longer need replacing. I also like its size and how it sits on a tabletop for a stability. I’m very happy with this sharpener!
