Easy and convenient way to feed a cat. I feed my cat (10 pounds, 1-1/2 years old) Sheba pate and/or cuts three times a day. She gets one portion at each meal, plus dry food to nibble on all day. (If she had only the Sheba wet food she would need 6 portions a day.) She loves the tuna fish and the chicken flavors, although she eats them all. I give her a different flavor at each meal so that she isn’t bored. When its time to eat she will run to her dish and wait for the food to come. Sometimes I have a difficult time getting the cover off the portion, it’s stuck on there very well. When that happens she runs back and forth complaining loudly until I give her the food.It is easy and convenient to grab a portion, feed her, then throw away the container instead of opening a can and having to save portions of food in the refrigerator for later. I feed her foods with no grains and her fur coat is nice and shinny. Sheba is made in the USA and is grain free. The strongest smelling Sheba are the fish flavors, but the smell is not overpowering.
Yummy for my cats. I have very picky cats and they never eat wet food so I gave up and give them dry food all the time but it messes with their digestive system and makes them stuck when they go potty even with thr gallons of water they drink. My friends who are cat owners have told me to try this brand since it’s the only brand I haven’t thought of trying yet and to my outmost surprised my cats LOVE IT. It is veryyyy smooth in texture and has a lot of water or juices in the packet and my cats pur with delight eating this. So I definitely recommend this brand to anyone with cats. High quality in my opinion. The package comes in a cute small box too
Convenient and the cats love it. Recently, my girlfriend’s elderly cat needed to have some teeth removed and so had to switch to a primarily wet food based diet. When he was younger he liked wet food but slowly moved away from that as he got older. We tried about 12 different wet foods before this one and he would barely eat any of them. Tried this one after a recommendation from my sister who fosters disabled animals and it did the trick! This is the only wet food (other than those bisque liquid treat things, but those don’t have the calories needed) he would eat and the younger cat who is a picky eater also will eat these. The portions are perfectly sized so you don’t have to worry about storing them in the fridge.If your cat is picky about their wet food, I would definitely give these a try
Cats love it. this was the first pate cat food that my 2 cats ate readily aside from their staple of Fancy Feast. It has a mild acceptable smell and good texture. It is expensive for the small quantity but does seem to satisfy the cats as a supplement feeding. I imagine it must taste good to a cat.
THE Cat food is good cat loves it but you only get a 24 count not a 48 like the decription says. cat food is great didnt get the total count only recieved one box of 24 count, should have got 2 boxes to make 48 count. i wouldnt have paid so much for just 24. i got 2 shipments separate orders both had one box
Knife’s edge. I have been using Sheba products for a while now. My cats like the stinkiness and the taste of the food, the ingredients are not vile. Packaging, useful and convenient as it is, is an issue though due to the plastic waste (as others have pointed out) but my biggest peeve is the aluminum cover that must be pulled back. The metal is thick enough to cut your hand if you don’t pull it back just right. I found out the hard way and after many days of opening these things being ultra-careful to hold it just right – I missed and cut my hand AGAIN, hence this review. Fancy Feast packaging (similar product) uses a comparable design but slightly thinner metal covering, which has yet to bite me – but Fancy Feast uses somewhat dubious ingredients. Becomes a trade off – injury; good food, no injury; okay food.
Only buy this on Amazon if it is on sale. Sheba pate is the only wet food my late male and current female cat will eat. I have bought this from Amazon a few times on a lightning deal as I have owned cats for about 14 years. My cats were picky and they prefer more variety than these packs. If your cat only likes the flavors in these packs and we’ll eat them all the time it probably comes out to about the same on a day to day basis. But like I said you can get these on lightning deals sometimes and they’re worth snapping up to save a little money. I do like that they are peel tops and not those metal tops with the ring. This makes them easier to store and I like that they are in single serve portions so if my cat isn’t hungry I don’t wind up wasting more than a day’s worth of food.
My cat gives these 5 stars. My cat goes crazy for Sheba wet cat food. His favorite are the pates, especially fish and chicken. The small portions are good, because my cat will overeat and throw up. Also, you don’t have to store half a can of stinky cat food in your fridge. Like all cat food, these smell terrible and you will get the juice on your fingers when opening them. The smell doesn’t linger after washing your hands though.

I love it my cat does not. I love the price and the number of packs. My cat however does not like this particular set of flavors and it’s a little hard to get the food out without having to scoop it out which means more dishes. I ended up giving away most of this pack to friends since my cat wasn’t a fan, but he does love the seafood flavors !
My cats favorite. My cat absolutely loves this wet food! She gets one serving each night, and she eagerly looks forward to it. The texture and flavor must be spot-on because she cleans her bowl every time. It’s also great to know she’s getting balanced nutrition. Highly recommend for picky eaters or cats who enjoy a nightly treat!
Picky Cat – Apparently Loves Salmon. Really picky kitty (actually an old precious cat) LOVES this Salmon Pate the most out of all of them. The others she will eat, but it certainly doesn’t bring out the purring like the salmon does! What’s so interesting about it is this is the only salmon pate she will eat – and she loves it! There must be something going on with the quality of the salmon at Sheba. She is really picky with food, dry or wet, but loves Sheba. I love that it is portion controlled already! She is losing some weight (which is good) and seems more active. I know she loves it from the rapid fire purring and rubs I get after feeding time and the excited meowing I get before giving it to her.

No complaints. I buy this when I want to cut back on over feeding them plus I leave hard vittles out also. My cats get spoiled and will ONLY eat wet food at times. These are perfect sized portions to give them just for the taste of wet food. Seems to digest well. Good buy for the price,seems fresh,came undamaged and arrived swiftly.
Great quality and good value at Amazon prices. Our cats love these Sheba wet foods. The quality is excellent without all the fillers. The portion size is excellent and they don’t leave any morsels. They even lick the oil and juices that are part of the portion.
Great cat food, affordable price, nuff said. My cat loves every version of pate from Sheba, except for beef for some weird reason. But overall 10/10 every other flavour is a home run quality is great, my cat has experienced no digestive issues either, constant customer because of this.
Recommended. This food is mostly meat, and doesn’t have much of carbohydrate additives like other brands. On average, it is more expensive than other brands, but considering the ingredients, it is worth it. The portions are just about the right size, the packaging is good. my cat enjoyed all flavors.

Excellent taste appeal; mostly easy to dispense; nice pate consistency. No complaints at all from the kitties regarding taste — clean bowls all-round. I like the pate consistency since it’s easier to remove from the pouch without needing a spoon. It’s a firm-ish texture: not too mushy but not so solid that I need to add water to make it more palatable. The foil lids are well sealed, which is a plus. However, it can be a bit difficult to peel back the foil lid unless you get just the right grip on it.The ingredient list is decent. It’s not what I would call outstanding given the use of poultry by-products, but it mostly hits the mark, and does so better than other foods in its price range.Happy cats = 5 stars
