Great, but don’t use with gel pens. Honestly a mistake on my part. I used gel pens to make notes on my book and it ended up smudging on the book and the sticky note. If you do use a gel pen, place a second note over it so it smudges on that instead of your book. The sticky note itself is not fully transparent, which I would honestly see as a positive thing because it has helped me from accidentally writing on the book itself. Would recommend for its price!
My review. These sticky notes helped so much when studying for my practical exams. I was able to make little drawings to label and study and stick them in my journal. You do need and sharpie to do this because it’s the only marker type utensil that will stick.
Very Cool. Perfect for copying diagrams in your notes. Careful to use pencil on them and not pen, ad pen won’t dry on them.

These are awesome. Just what I was looking for and the material not being paper is fantastic for labeling stores food in the refrigerator or the freezer!
Working well for college student. I got these for my daughter to use with dual enrollment college classes, where she gets the college books on loan for free, but has to return them in good condition. These let her add notes on the pages without actually marking up the books. They have worked very well. Just be sure to use the right type of Sharpie fine-point pen so it doesn’t smear. Very satisfied, and she will probably get more in her stocking for Christmas for her next semester/year.

Works fine, just no gel pens. I knew ahead of time through other reviews, and also it’s basically plastic, but don’t expect gel/water/oil based pens to go down dry on these short of letting them dry for an hour (which obviously no one has the time for). They will smear hard, and the only thing i’ve found that will stick is pencil and permanent markers.The adhesive itself is reasonably strong and it goes over text nicely, very transparent. For the amount i got and the price, it seemed fair to me.
Permanent markers only. These are great for note-taking(which is what I got them for). Nice and translucent. Sometimes two sheets will stick together when I go to pull one off the stack. They are more plastic so they’ve got some of that static cling stuff going on.When you go to use these, I would not recommend anything but permanent pens or makers – no gels, at all. Anything with gel will either take forever to dry or smudge horribly.
I’ve needed this all my writing and reading life. Where have these been hiding all my life?? I absolutely love using these. They allow me to write notes in my books (keep track/reminders/etc). They stick well. As a reader and a writer – this will be a repeat item that I will buy often and keep stocked in my desk/office. I just can’t believe I didn’t know these existed sooner.
