Size Matters. I train professionally and have used the liver, Pure Bite, treats almost exclusively for luring and rewarding student dogs in training. The thickness of the treats has increased a lot since I first started using them.The pieces can be broken into smaller pieces but is much easier when it was thinner. I work with a lot of puppies and thinner is easier to break into small, consistent sized pieces. They are a very good treat but are on the more expensive side from my viewpoint. The price has increased a lot since I first noticed them. If it makes another large jump in price I might not want to pay it. 🐾🐾
Dog loves it and easy to cut in smaller pieces. The dog loves them and the humans find it easy to handle! We have tried other liver treats and our dog clearly likes best when it’s just pure frozen liver like this. An issue we found with others is that the chunks are too big and difficult to cut for smaller rewards. In contrast, this one comes cut in relatively thin slices which are very easy to break in smaller pieces by hand while in the pocket.
Great treat. My dog is extremely good motivated and also has anxiety and food allergies. These never upset his tummy and he will always work for these. My only complaint is that the size of the treats vary wildly. I buy them every other month and the variety of size is wild.
MY dog LOVES these. My dog goes crazy for the Pure Bite liver-flavored treats! And this is such a value for the price. Win-win!!

He ALWAYS roots through the kibble to extract the liver snack. One note…the pieces can be inconsistent in size and thickness, but they are usually pretty easy to break into smaller chunks. Our dog is only 15 pounds, so some of the larger pieces would be a LOT for him to eat. Regardless, we really should have this on subscription!

This is a very healthy treat. My grand dog loves these freeze-dried liver treats! She knows when she comes to my house she will find some in her bowl. As soon as she hits the door, she makes a beeline for that bowl.

My dog thinks these freeze dried liver treats are the best thing ever.Luckily for the humans in the house; they don’t smell.I had previously purchased them at a local farm store but they were often out of stock so I was delighted when I found a 3pk here.The original packages I would buy were small treats about the size of a dime and 1kc per treat. These are closer in size to a domino and 5kc per treat. Since I use them as training treats for my medic alert dog I just break them into smaller pieces.Great value on the quantity.
