My new ALL-time favorite incense burner/holder. Works with all styles. Awesome little incense burner at a great price! I have just recently rediscovered my love of incense – but had forgotten what I disliked about it – the ashy mess! With this burner, the mess is a thing of the past. It catches all of the dropped ashes and keeps them on the plate. I also love it because it is metal – which feels much safer than my old wooden boat style burner! I have zero worries about setting a hot match down on the plate, nor of snubbing out a burning stick on it.Very easy and quick to clean up, and it works great for all styles – whether it is any of the different stick styles, or cones, etc.!One tip for the long sticks – I prefer to break off all but about 3/8″ of the bare stick at the bottom of the longer sticks (see picture) This keeps it lower and all over the plate, so that even when a stick is one of the very long ones, the ashes land on the plate. I prefer to lean them over a bit, but they can also stand straight up, of course. The two little pieces that hold the incense should fit most any stick incense, as they have various size holes between them.5 stars, no hesitation.
Holder not attached to plate. Well made produce with a major issue…the brass incense holder has no way to attach to the plate so the slightest bump or nudge causes it to fall if using large insect repelling punk sticks…will find a way to attach it…but not too hopeful it will stay attachedWould be ok for small incense cones and such
Captures all incense ash. This is one of the best catchers for incense ash that I have found. It prevents the usual spillover which has occurred with the typical long, thin wooden catchers. Keeps the area clean.
