DO NOT USE ON RENTAL BOOKS. I bought these so that I could use them on rented books but when it was time to return the book, the sticky notes left behind a really sticky residue on the pages that made the pages in the book stick together. I had to one by one try to scrape away the stickiness. Also these will not work with gel pens, only with the non-gel.
